My favourite fighter of all time. During his heavy weigt reign and his amature fights. Awesome!! After his prison stint, was never the same. :):)

I partied alot at the same club as him these past couple months, actually where he was before his DUI. The 2 times I actually was around the same tables as him, he was cool to me. I didn't flock to him like some would. He was for the most part nice to everyone, I don't blame him though for being irritatied due to repetitiveness.

In the late 80's and early 90's Tyson's overhand right was absolutely brutal. He was a lot of fun to watch during my high school years, I remember being in disbelief when he got knocked out by Buster Douglas.

I think that pro boxing will take a while before they get someone like Tyson again. Regardless of his troubles with the law, he was one of the best fighters of all times and it seems that professional boxing has really been missing something since Mike went to prison.

I used to love watching Tyson in his prime................so explosive.

I will say that mixed martial arts has now taken the place of boxing for me. The excitement level of just about every fight is near equal the better boxing matches of yesteryear.

    truth!

if he had stayed hungry, he could have quite easily become the best boxer ever. he had everything it took to become the greatest.

Actually after Cus died, he was still in the hands of his trainer Kevin Rooney, and his promoters Jim Jacobs and Bill Cayton, who all had his best interests at heart. Jim Jacobs died in 1988. Only after Jacobs and Cus' deaths was Don King able to get his claws into him, and that was the beginning of the end.

Hmmm.....First of all, he did NOT have what it took to be an alltime great. He was a short heavyweight, who feasted on less than mediocre opposition. Looking devastating against the Sammy Scaff's and Donnie Long's of the world doesn't cut it. His handlers kept him aways from Evander Holyfield for a reason.....>They knew that Tyson didn't have the character to to withstand a talented AND strongwilled opponent. He had many chinks in his armor. His power and intimidation techniques allowed him to overcome that against lessor opponents. He was an exciting fighter for sure, but not invincible. Buster Douglas proved what a motivated heavyweight could do to him. The rest was downhill.

That sounds a bit racial to me. Maybe you meant 'kinks'.

Maybe you should try getting an education beyond junior high.

    chink 1 Pronunciation (chngk)
    n.
A narrow opening, such as a crack or fissure.
    tr.v. chinked, chink·ing, chinks
    1. To make narrow openings in.
    2. To fill narrow openings in.
[Probably alteration of obsolete chine, from Middle English, crack, from Old English cine.]

    chink in one's armor

A vulnerable area, as in Putting things off to the last minute is the chink in Pat's armor and is bound to get her in trouble one day. This term relies on chink in the sense of "a crack or gap," a meaning dating from about 1400 and used figuratively since the mid-1600s.

Everytime you post, you look worse and worse. Did I threaten you? Did I tell you how tough I was? No. I simply pointed out where you made an ass of yourself, by trying to sound cool. Do you need another reminder of your original post?

You are not a very good spin-doctor, so stop trying and just apologize for your original comment.

You called him out without doing your hw and then pretend like you didn't. You can't blame the guy for defending himself, its really no big deal considering he only made one response that essentially echoed the tone you initially used!
