Yes, my 430 is up for renewal. I wont post the premiums up here as I know the brokers read the forums and it may hinder my negotiations. I will say that the renewal premium was a tad excessive, but that's part and parcel of having an expensive car and being quite young.

:D - Nice one. The phrase 'quite young' is all a matter of perspective. To me, Rob is quite young - but I am 73...

Try Liverpool Victoria, I paid £1050 for a 360F1(2000X) but it was 2 years ago+ but they were loads cheaper than anyone else. I was about 32 at the time.
Their online system gave me the quote...

£1840 incl 5 track days, 2006 430 spider, limited mileage, 36 years old. Royal and Sun alliance via AON.

Not bad as my original quote was from Zurich private clients a snippet under £2500

I'd love another, mine was a 6 month 'fling' - loved every second.
Theres a few 430s around the CCliffs area and a 360CS.

Im 32 my lady is 30, this year on a 2001 360 spider was just under £1100 through AON. That was with driving ban at the time for speeding (tut tut) and the misses insured 7k miles per year. The other great thing is you dont need to use any no claims bonus with their scheme.

    hope this helps

Jimmy the same happened when I put my Mrs on the 360 spider insurance aswell it came down by about £100. I also insured her on my Mini Cooper S (everyday car ...although I seem to use the 360 more :O) ) and that took to insure down from almost £600 for me alone to £320 with full breakdown cover on any motor amazed !!

And she drives both cars .....im a sucker for punishment !!

Easy really, I got the quote through confused.com. When I finished making the ammendments, eg. miles, guaranteed protected ncb and my lady on it, the price it spat out was £891.70, so as you would I got the credit card out and bought it there and then, about 3 weeks ago just before picking the car up.
I'm 30 with 7 years ncb, clean licence, tracbak fitted, social only and kept in the garage as you would expect.
I phoned them last week to let them know my previous policy no. for the ncb entitlement, and all seemed fine. Guess I must have been lucky then !!!
