Bored??? All I have to do is put my foot down. Then there is no boredom. Until I can find a finer car, what should I do? 12 cylinders or walk.
Just after my 1st year of ownership of my 308qv, I go through withdrawl, if I don't take it out at least once a week. I can't wait to go anywhere in it. If you're bored driving a Ferrari, check your pulse, you probably don't have one.
Sadly I dont own a Ferrari, but if it means anything all I basically get to do it look at them on the internet and in magazines, and I still dont get bored of them. Ive ridden in a Mondial and a 360 CS, and I know no way whatsoever you could possibly get bored with one. Maybe if you had the Mondial and your other car was a Mclaren F1 or Bugatti Veyron... This is to Len S: That was the greatest post Ive ever read. i think you summed up what Ive been trying to tell myself every time I slip into a Ferrari. It was worded like a poet, simply wonderful. You truly deserve your Ferrari. Drive that 308 thining what you do every time and you truly never will get bored.
len s, cornersWell your posts are absolutely inspiring to those like me who live to someday own a Ferrari, thank you
Bored??? No way. Are there any other decent motors out there? No that I care to try, only Porsche, Lamborghini or Ferrari for me.
That makes two of us! And I have not driven mine for 4 weeks!!! I still love it! Will take it for a long drive these days off in two days time.
I just had a minor service done on my car. All fluids and filters changed, and replaced some hoses. All told, I was away from my car for nearly two weeks, thanks largely to my being caught without a flight in the Northeast ice storm. After reuniting with the car and starting 'er up, it felt like taking delivery all over again. I drove the beast for an hour, even though my schedule was (I thought) full for the evening. Total damages for work done came to $1300. In the past, a $1300 bill would make me think of replacing a car. With my Ferrari, it didn't make a difference....I was so happy to have the car back, and felt that I'd made a worthy investment in my future driving. So bored? Nope, guess not.
I'm just tired of seeing it under the cover on the parking lift and bored with the -5 degree weather in Chicago!
I don't know if you would call it "bored" but after owing 3 360s and 2 430s in the last 6 years I'm taking a break from Ferrari. We still have a 599 in the family (not mine). I've got a gt3 coming in next month. I'll keep it unitl the Dino or 430 replacement comes out.
