can someone enlighten me to why many consider the Mac "better" than the PC?? Is it a matter of preference? Also what about the OS? I HATE the Mac OS but I heard that Vista is just a poor attempt at copying the Mac OS?!? WTF? Apple has, is, and always will suck(ed) balls. The ease of use on a PC is exponentially greater than that on a Mac IMO. Anyway, what do the computer 'experts' think?

I'm about as close to being a computer expert as I am to being a Rhodes scholar, but I can say that I grew up on PCs and then switched to Macs doing graphic design. It took a little while to get used to the Mac, but once I got used to it, using a PC seemed ...weird. I think Mac will always be light years ahead of PCs.

With that said, I went back to PCs a long time ago and haven't used a Mac since. It's just personal preference, I guess and now, using a Mac seems weird. Even though I'll probably always use PCs, I still think Macs are better.

I also grew up on PC's, and the first time I used a mac I thought to myself..hey, this makes sense!
Macs are not only more reliable than PC's, but are faster and more of a pleasure to use. You also don't have the compatability problems you have with PC's, like all the stupid hardware and software/drivers etc etc. PC's are annoying compared to macs, IMO.

Also in professional industries like graphic/web design, recording studios and video/film work mac's are standard because of their speed and reliability. Have been for a long time.

If you like your PC better, that's great, all the best to you. I would prefer to use a mac all the time, but don't have one at home now. I can get around PC's just fine.
