    HI CAN ANY ONE LET ME KNOW IF OIL LIGHT SHOULD COME ON WITH IGNITION ON BEFORE START UP AS MOST OTHER VEHICLE DO OR DOES IT ONLY COME ON IF THERES A OIL PRESSURE PROB JUST LIKE THE FUEL GAUGE IF ITS LOW ON FUEL ???????

    Mine comes on with the ignition until the pressure comes up- about two or three seconds after starting.

    With the ignition switch in the ON position light should stay on.
    But if it stay on during idle or while driving as long as the preasure reads normal then the oil light sending unit is bad.
