how brave of you to post this in the sanctuary of the 348/355 section :D:D:D

Given the lumps and bumps growing on your car, you will have to post in the bio-degradeable section soon :D

People should know that both Hudson & Hazy are notoriously very anti-348.

They often make nasty jokes about our cars and the brotherhood. Coninuously slagging off both the 348 and the 355, even though both of them are former 355 owners.

I have their addresses if anyone wants it. :D :D :D

Interesting........ The 360/430 have good technology. It is the bubbly round front end and super "tall & stocky" rear end that make them undesirable IMO.

I considered a 360 only for the aluminum chassis/body but could not get past the overly rounded looks of it. :(

An F40 and F60 are the only F-cars that compare to an F355 IMO. From an apearance standpoint of course ;)

Thats what i used to say before i could justify stretching my budget to the modern shapes ;) A 355/348 is kind of like convincing yourself that that the flared pants (trousers) you have still look good....:D

I like the 360 and may get one but objectively the negative with the car is they made way too many of them, if you see a Ferrari on the road 9 times out of 10 its a Ferrari 360 most likely or 430, exclusivity is gone with that car, plus the fact 90% have F1s which I don't like at all, one fellow at the track commented the F1 is for bling as it makes all these revs with the motor but you don't go anywhere.

I also hate the traction control, it totally messes up the handling and driving experience they really made this car so wankers both men and women that have no clue how to drive can now drive them and not kill themselves which is why they have sold so many.

Tis is a turning point car IMO for the dempographic that now owns Ferraris just as the 308 being relatively made in large numbers in the 70s was a turning point for Ferrari then.

You just see more 430/360 on the road because they are more reliable than the 348's/355's. Having the price tag the 430 has makes it 'exclusive' enough.

With regards to the traction etc you are being too presumptious. The speeds a 348 does wont really test an experienced driver, whereas a 430 with traction off is more than enough for most capable drivers.....

    ;)

Most people are clueless to how much each Ferrari is worth old or new they just know a Ferrari is expensive, expensive in itself is not exclusive Mercedes and others are percieved to be expensive to most but clearly not exclusive, if you want to talk exclusivity or attention factor my 512BB creates much more of that than my 355 and any 360 or 430 I have driven. I know I will never see another on the road.

I don't have a 348 either, have a 355 slightly modded that has as much HP as a 360, concerning the 360s traction control I took one for a long test drive from a local dealership and hammered the hell out of it enough to know the cars limits with traction control on or off and IMO traction control is to protect the weak drivers from killing themselves but destroys the cars handling capabilities

Driving a 348 or 355 on the pace on a track, is testing enough for any driver.

I am perfectly secure in driving what "I" like, not what some bloke in another continent thinks is cool ;) I am certain that you are also very swayed by the latest clothing "fashions" as well, since a real man does not care or know what "trousers" are in LOL :p

I am glad you bought the car that eases your insecurities ;) . If rust ever does happen there is this process called a "repair", to which a prissy boy as yourself may be completely unaware of..... ;)

    Concise and succinct chaa ;).

Your sentence is contradictory, How is "seeing" more of them "exclusive"??? Also the 430 is the "cheapest" "entry level" f-car just like the older models :D :D!! If that makes you feel "exclusive", then I envy you ;). It would take at least two of the following: Wally turbine yacht, Enzo, 288 gto, F40, Gulfstream 5 w/ full time staff and a waterfront mansion in every international city before I would ever even "think" of feeling "exclusive" :D :D.

I guess my 600hp 993TT doesn't come close to your "entry level" party piece!! :p:p

No chas, just live in the real world. All these people that think they have something rare cos they dont see many about - fact is they dont see many about for a reason. Lets face it, the 348 was always gonna be a flop, thus the low sales figures. Yes theres loads more 360s about - its supply and demand.

The 360 is better put together, more stable at higher speed, better handling. The shape is subjective - it always will be when you look at evolution. People dont like change i suppose. Theres them that live in the past and those that embrace the future.

Is it? I never found it that way. The 355 was unreliable, rattled like a pig, suffered with brake fade, and was no where near as balanced as my CS or the 430. Admittedly the 355 was pretty, but never testing.

hey i know you and no you dont live in the real world. Save that s**t for some one who dont know ya;)
And of course the 348 and 355s are rarer, 9,000 355s v 16,000 360s. nothing to do with whats reliable what so ever.
