My weekend adventure in LA/Palm Springs

    Well, last weekend while in LA I had the pleasure of getting to meet and spend some time with fellow f-chatters john (yellowenzo123) and Steve (Redd430). All the fun began on friday when I met John at the Hilton. He pulled up in the Maybach, we jumped in and headed down to the parking garage where Steve had already showed up and got the Enzo running and warming up. We loaded up the cars, John and I got in the Enzo and Steve followed in the Maybach. We headed out to the desert, which took almost 6 hours due to traffic, but as you could guess I really didnt care how long the traffic prolonged our trip for several reasons; we had good music, I had a good cigar, and that minor detail that I was in a Enzo. We finally got to the desert, hung out at the house for a while, played with some of his other cars, waited for the first truckload of muscle cars to arrive for the show. We then spent all night hanging out and getting things set up at the show. Spent the following day (saturday) at the show, and headed back into LA late saturday night!

    Needless to say, the best 36 hours of my life! Here are some pics, at mikes request! Enjoy, I know I did!

    I like his music solution in the Enzo. Nothing like a ghetto blaster in a million dollar car. I never liked yellow, but that Enzo looks awesome.

    I was quite suprised, It actually sounded really good! And was louder than I would have expected, you could easily here the music, with the windows down while having some fun on the highway! :)

    I will be there during spring break, last week of march. Party on! You may have to make an adjustment to that once every six monthes rule you came up with though! Haha. I will get that e-mail out tonight.

    John,
    You are a stud!! I believe I gave Mathew his first ride in a Ferrari. Great kid! ( sorry Mathew) Not that he wasn't already hooked on Ferrari but I think I cemented the dream in his head? Sharing your Enzo is a great thing. I just wanted to say thanks for keeping peoples dream alive. I "hope" to get an Enzo in a few year and would love to hear your impressions sometime? Take it easy

    Wow i was in LA about the same time as you. Wish i could've atleast seen you guys drive by or something. I love going to Cali to see the cars though. Such a great place. Your very lucky, John seems like a really really nice guy.

    That's incredible. You make my LA vacations look poor. :) I can't wait for spring break though, me and some friends are road tripping down. It's become almost a yearly thing.
