    Will an engine lid from a '76 308 fit onto a '83 GTS? I know the louvers are different along with the struts, but what about the overall size / shape?

    The lids from different models should interchange about as well as a new lid for that model would fit: ie: Some Assembly Required.

    New 308 panels usually require some adjustment for the particular car they're being installed into.

    I'd agree they are the same except grills, and you could cut those!
