Well, my 1995 355B was just picked up today and was sold to a great guy in Arizona. The tears streamed down my face as the truck with my car pulled away. I can only hope that I will be back in another Fcar one day soon. I want to thank all the people on this forum that helped me with various questions and comments over the last couple of years. JB
I was wondering why your car had not sold already. The price was really good for your car and I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it. the good news is that there are plenty of other ferraris out there for you to buy in the future! BT
Yes, it did take a while, but it went to good hands. Actually, I had it on consigment for a while, then finally, the dealer called and said we can sell it but its worth $6000 less than you thought. I said screw it, sell it, but then that afternoon I put it on ebay and within two hours got a call from someone I talked to about a month before and offerd me 7k more than the consingment. Go figure.
I'm really sorry to hear that. Do you have any plans on what Ferrari you would want to own in the future?
Thats both bad and good Jon... I was really hoping that deal was going to fall through. I'm finally ready to buy one and yours was close, clean and most importantly, in my price range. I need to keep a closer eye on ebay!
The Ferrari community can be a tight-knit bunch, so the word is out that Jon's F355 sold to some guy out in Arizona. Well, allow me to introduce myself as that guy, the newest member of the F355 brotherhood. My name is Nick, I am (obviously) already an F-Chat member, and I'd been looking for the right car for some time. Hence, I finally subscribed! Right now, the car is being FedEx'd (no joke) to Arizona just in time for Concorso and some nice spring drives up to the mountains. I'll take pictures as soon as it gets here. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to miss the delivery because it will occur while I'm at Atlantis in the Bahamas next week. I know how to use the search function, but still expect plenty of questions pertaining to "how does this work" and "whats that sound". The F355 is the model I have been most passionate about and its exciting to have the day around the corner.
Well I was thinking I could ask him for my 50,000 posts that I racked up during that time the site was up/down LOL
Congrats on the purchase! It is a tight community, I had looked into that car too before settling on yellow Feel free to ask the dumb questions because I'm sure many of us new owners are thinking the same thing!
