BIG (stupid looking) sunglasses thread

Has to be the second dumbest thing right now right after the BT headsets. In 2007, it's okay to look like a giant insect. Where did this ridiculous fad come from?. This must be a godsend for ugly chicks with jacked-up faces.

I saw one chick downtown yesterday with some huge Gucci-looking things **AND** a BLUETOOTH headset. She looked like a giant robot cyborg insect.

I guess shoulder pads are on the way back pretty soon? Ankle warmers?

Well, I was at a nice steakhouse a couple of months ago and I saw some women who had the whole "Flashdance" thing going on. As for the glasses, it's a neo early 70's look and it looks stupid.

Those sunglasses really crack me up. I love it... I have some bizarre attraction to girls with the insect-eye look.

On a side note, when my dad puts his hair back, he looks like Kim Jung Il. We're not even close to being Korean.

when my teenage daughter wears them we call her 'Bugs Life'. She laughs it off, it is a goofy trend.

Just the other day I saw some teenage girl in a Scion TC, I swear the glasses covered HALF her face in bright white! on top of this, she was driving like she owned the road in an out of lines all over the place with no signal... then she cut me off, I honked and got right next to her, and alost laughed at how BIG the glasses were.

THe worst part she thought she was so hot in her stupid glasses and "cool race car".

 

It's not really a new trend, women in Hollyweird have been wearing big sunglasses for decades. Look at some star photo's from the 70's and you'll see what I mean.


BTW, Remix, did you hear about BT's studio being broken into? They copped most of his gear.

 

i saw BT at red rocks - one of my all time favorite artists - that sucks about his stuff.

I actually like the big sunglasses, i have some cool pradas myself and cant wait to get in the 308 with the top down with those things on (retro man!!), they are real comfortable and do a good job blocking out the sun.....

 

I hate those glasses.

 

I think that's the third time now. WTF? People on the global dance boards are pretty skeptical.

I can't stand the dudes that wear sunglasses and their BT piece out at night. I'm assuming the BT piece is convenient for business calls? I just can't imagine wanting to answer one of those calls while I'm out at night. I heard when you wear one of those your game with the ladies multiplies by atleast 84x, and then you become EXTREME
