    The 4th Annual Georgia Tech Auto Show will take place on Saturday, March 31st 2007..... rain or shine!

    Georgia Tech students are big Ferrari fans..... and, as you know, the Engineering Concept Manager, Franco Cimatti, is a Georgia Tech graduate of 1981.

    I would be there in a heart beat, but I have already ordered tickets to a predators game. Make sure to take plenty of pics.

    Sterling, wasn't FoA's participation last year solely due to the appearance of Franco Cimatti? I'd be a but surprised (but quite happy) if they participated again this year. If not, we'll supply the Ferraris.............

    No, Ferrari of Atlanta partner, Ed Wettach, and I were talking at Petit Le Mans, and he said that he had a great time at the show in 2006, and that he was planning to participate again in 2007.

    The dealership "faf" located in Tucker, Ga was started by 5 partners (correct me if I am wrong). Two of the partners were Georgia Tech graduates. Another, John Apen, had a son that I knew at Tech.

    Can anyone tell me what all the names where?? The 5 partners that started faf??

    I know, but do you?? Lets play Atlanta Ferrari Trivia!

    I sent the picture of Andy Pilgrims race car to Andy this morning and he was all excited to see his name on the car at a car show.

    I think too that he was concerned at who may be looking under the car for dare I say " hidden secrets " that people shouldnt see.

    Ewing Hunter (IM 1962) and Wes Devoto (IM 1963) were two of the founders of FAF in Tucker. Both of them graduated from Georgia Tech in "Industrial Management".

    John Apen was another of the partners, and his son, Eric, attended TECH when I was an undergrad student there in the early 1990's.

    There is really no charge. You can send in a donation to Tech if you like. Not mandatory and amount not mandatory.

    Sterling, what part of the metro area does Mrs. Knight reside in? She mentions Fayette County in her letter, which leads me to believe that she is somewhere to the south.

    I'd be interested in helping, but as I'll be coming from Marietta, her probable location makes it impractical for me. If she is south, hopefully a couple of Ferrari owners who live down that way will be able to help out.

    I really had a good time! I'm glad I went. thanks for taking a picture of my black 328... it looks pretty good!

    I had a great time sittin around chatting about old Ferrari's & F-1!

    Ed Wettach is a really nice guy, and he is the one who owns the Enzo, F-50, 599 and 288 GTO... if it were not for people like him, we would never be able to see these cars in person!

    I also went the show. Had a great time. Seeing the Enzo, 599, and 288 in person for the first time was great, but I've got to say my favorite was the F50. Absolutely stunning.
