the link above is already filled out, just order the stuff at the check out.

The driver side (USA lefthand drive) hose assembly uses 2- 90 degree -6AN fittings. cut the new -6An hose to 15 inches. The passenger side (USA lefthand drive) hose assembly uses 1-90 degree -6AN and 1-45 degree -6AN fitting. The 45 degree goes to the fuel pump outlet. Cut new -6AN hose to 17 inches. Assemble hoses. Get a .297 drill bit and drill out the 12mm adapter fitting the rest of the way through. Just do it. Drain tank, remove stock feed lines, remove stock fittings, one on inlet of fuel filter (bottom one) and one on fuel tank( pump outlet). Then inpect inside pump oulet port with a light to chech for debris before installing new fittings. The 14mm fitting comes with a seal, the 12mm fitting you will need to new copper washers. Then install new fuel lines, 15 inch on the left and 17 inch on the right, make sure the 45 degree fitting goes to the right tank pump outlet, checking for correct routing and clearances so the AN hose ends are not hitting anything.

    Dave,

Do you know if you have to drain the tank to get the fuel pump out of the tank so you can change the internal check valves?

Its going back in tomorrow, then I still have to fabricate and mount an airbox, finish welding the custom muffler system, finish the custom brake conversion. At least the brakes are almost done. Just got done cutting off the stock airbox mounts from the chassis, and touching up the paint.

Ok, its in! Left to do.....final welding on muffler assembly, throttle linkage, airbox mod, airbox mount, fluids. Then I can run it. Have to finish brakes, mount both bumpers, rear engine bonnet and wait for rain to wash the salt mess off the streets. Just another winter day in Wisconsin...

OMG, that looks so nice! I hope this works out well on the performance side. Someone was supposed to make some 348 headers, going to check back with them, could be a little more on the table there! Have you considered using the carbon canister filters instead of the stock box?

When your done, sense you like tinkering, want another 348 to work on? I'll have to send you another one ASAP!

So now we have this one, the one with 355 intake and Andy’s with the ITBs! Anyone know numbers on the other setups yet?

Andy is making 400+, and Plugzit is a bit under 355 power, but he still has to fine tune it more.

Did these guys FINALLY get these cars on a dyno, or are the numbers still conjecture?

Well, Andy has done a pull on the dyno but hasn't put the sheets up. He did say that it did put down 400hp without squeezing the bottle.

Plugzit, was using a G-tech. Yeah yeah yeah I know, they aren't accurate for power numbers. But what he did was run a base line with it, and then after each ecu mod. We also had gothspeed do a few runs with the G-tech in his car so that we could compair the numbers.

It will be interesting to see what these actually put down.

 400hp on a 348??? What has Andy done to his car?? Is that the aluminum velocity stack, individual throttle body monster I have seen around here??

Oh man that looks nice. Watch out 355ers! The air collector atop the tbs' looks like it might be a sticking point. Will it flow as much as it needs to at normal aspiration?

400hp from a 348! Thats it! I need some turbos on the 355. 7 PSI should do nicely.

OK, today got the modified airbox back on, throttle linkage done, IAC valves plumbed, TPS set, AMM Ohms set. Still have to do rear brake brackets, mount rear bumper, to align and tighten exhaust. Mount rear deck, front bumper, lights, grill etc. Numbers will come as soon as the weather breaks and the roads are salt free.

That's a great look. Can you please elaborate on the larger MAFs? What did they cost? Do they output the same signal as the stock units?

Is your engine running as you've got it set up today? If so, what process did you go through to set the ohms on your MAFs and what is their current ohm value?

Do you have fuel pressure and fuel flow values in hand yet?

    Thanks for any help.

Now that the oem airbox is out of the way. Do you have room for a strut tower brace? Also, it looks awesome except the use of the old airbox. It would have been cool to pipe cold air into individual small round filter/boxes right into the AFM's. The oem corrigated air pipes and airbox are not much to look at.

So what did you use as the TB's?

From what car or what maker and size?

What injector size are you using?

What engine management are you using?

I like the modified 348 airbox, its alot of work to re-shape it yet it still looks factory, I looked into the other set-up you described and drew up an aluminum pressure box but the factory airbox look keeps 'em guessin'. It would have been no challenge to just throw on a pair of BMC fiters, anybody can do that.
