Please, remember that Hovic's place is right next to a police station. And the last time we were there they were interested.
Long Island is too far for NJ and CT guys and is not easy to get to. I495 is one long parking lot no "spirited" driving there.

I really like that idea! Clyde and I were just up there a few weeks ago. Only problem is that parking is somewhat tight.

People are really against the SouthStreet Seaport as a starting point, eh?

Additionally, I've been dying to go try Dinosaur BBQ on 125th St right next to the fairway.

NJ is definately out as the "meet spot." I really think somewhere close to Manhattan is probablly the most central location for all of us. Going out to the island on a weekend during the summer will be a nightmare to fight traffic. However, I think coming into the city on a sunday AM should be pretty easy.

Cloisters are were we meet for FCA functions. There is enough parking space for about 15 cars.

Those were the good days Rob .... I know you were not the one who invented fun runs but you sure made them more exciting and introduced many to a new way to enjoy there exotics

He was renting the red 360 for the week. You actually have a good pic of him on your site with a cigarrette in his hand. Pretty funny.

How exactly do the Blue Laws affect a Coffee shop???

Nabbs, I think someplace less restrictive is better.

With all these meeting spots and so many people here's an idea.

How about we make up different groups with different locations. Each group would meet at a certain time and at a certain place and then all the groups would meet up. It may also be somewhat safer.

To be honest: I wouldn't mind a place where we could sit down, get a bite to eat, and a cup of coffee. Like I said, there doesn't have to be many of us.

I can tell you all that Miller Ferrari has tentatively said that we could meet up in their lot on Sundays. Miller is located in Greenwhich, CT. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Again, if we were to go there, it would have to be in a respectful way and not with the attempt to fill their lot.

Neil is right people could certainly meet up and drive to the spot together. I really like the thought of meeting up at the Cloisters. Or just meeting in CT.

    Thoughts?

How about getting GDC to open up their warehouse for us to hang out in :) I know we're looking to do a photoshoot in a few weeks.
