There can, and never will be any agreement on what is the prettiest car of all time. But we can probably all agree an Aztec wont be on the list. In any logical list of the top ten most beautiful cars ever made, a Ferrari will always be included. And a 308 will most likely be near the list, if not in it.

A few straight lines on a ruler makes it pretty?

And I love how you mention the SE30 in particular, as if a few badges and design changes make it all that much better.

Has to be the CS. For some reason, the normal 360 just doesnt do it for me. The Challenge Stradale is absolute perfection and amazingly beautiful.

here's something. Let's say you thought the Subaru WRX was the prettiest car of all time. But not just any old Subaru WRX, no you like the STI the best. So you go to reply to a thread asking what car you think looks best, are you going to post a pic of a normal WRX, or the STI?

Yea the STI. Why? because you think it looks better. What's different about it? ( remember this thread is about looks ) It's got the big wing, a big hood scoop and some rims. Oh yea and some STI badges. But you think those little design changes make it look just that much better, so you post the STI.

Same thing with the Diablo. The VT is nice, but I think the design changes on the SE30 make it nicer, so I posted the SE30 for that reason. If this thread wasn't about a cars looks, I would agree with your post, obviously a new bumper and some badges arent going to make a car work any better. But since it isn't, I fail to see your point.

Gotta agree with audihenry. Any car that needs plastic wings, side skirts, badges, fluorescent metallic purple paint, etc., to be "The One!" -- just isn't.

I actually like the Diablos - one of Lambo's better efforts, IMO. But it's really another one of those winged space-ship testorone-shaped fantasy cars cut from the Countach/Vector/Esprit mold. Cool? Yeah. The best looking car of all time? Well... it would have a spot in my top 100 (and I'm not a wire wheel kind of guy.)

It's all very subjective. If my niece tells me that Britney's "Oops I did it again" is the best music ever written, I just nod my head and buy her the CD.

Every car needs someone to lust after it, though.

    I love this post Bullfighter.
I only saw three posts for anything Porsche. One was a RS61.

A couple of also rans that haven't been mentioned, Alpha Duetto and 240Z.

    Love the big Benzs.

Prettiest of all time IMO has to be an art deco era car with big long swooping fenders.
