The 430 with the Capristo that Steve R is talking about is mine. I have hyperflow cats and the stage 3. The sound in my opinion is much better than stock but I am having major rattle and vibration problems. I am on my second muffler and am going to have Damian put it back to stock untill I can figure it out. The bad sounds I am hearing is driving me nuts.
PM me if you have any questions or let me know if you find a better exhaust sound that is more dependable.

    Scott,

I told Damian not to jump that bridge........but what's a joy-ride without getting the Ferrari a little airborn?? ;)

Just curious....is the sound a bit much when the top is down? Aside from the rattle, did you expereince any drone/resonance at lower rpm's (before or after the cats)?? I saw your muffler on the bench...something went really wrong inside that thing!! And it went bad within a week of the fresh install??? Dayum!!!!

Ya know guys, I did a LOT of research before selecting what is now the 4th exhaust system to be on my car (LONG story)....and I can strongly reco that you contact Damian about a Larini exhaust, they should have the 430 system out by now and if it's anything like the 360 system it'll deliver an F1 sound w/o drone or resonance AND still give you a huge beefy-rich sound at the bottom-end!! They also give you a 100% satisfaction guaranteel; they'll buy it back if you don't smile!

I'm sorry to dog Capristo, but right now I know a major distributor who isn't selling them anymore due to quality issues and several of the recent units, including my former Capristo, have had problems. Scott is 0 for 2, do you really wanna go this route?????

That pic of the tip that broke off: wild...how'd that happen??????

I had my car in to Damien a few weeks ago to check out noise in my capristo exhaust. He fixed a bracket that had broke and that got rid of most of the rattle, but I still have a rattle at 3700 RPM that is caused by broken welds on the inside of the exhaust and cannot be fixed. I love the sound of the Capristo and honestly have not heard a car that sounds better, but that little rattle is annoying.

BTW I saw the 430 Capristo sitting on the bench and I guess it had broken welds on the inside. Nice sounding exhaust but I am disappointed with the quality.
