depens on which "area of town" I go to. Certain places i.e. santana row usually have at least one exotic out and about at all times.

Crawford: Not too long ago, I saw 308 or 328 for sale on Ebay from Brentwood, TN. Sightings may be further and farther between. My GF is in real estate in Brentwood of Northern Kalifornia and it is amazing how many calls from Southern Kalifornia she receives inquiring about property for sale in her area(prices are much lower in her area).

My son and I actually did a count one nice Saturday afternoon. The ferrari occurrence rate was:

1 ferrari for every: 178 Mustangs(usually rented convertibles), 87 corvettes, 32 Porsches. The Fcar is driven alone. The other cars invariably have a hot babe(i think) next to the driver. One Pcar had a surfboard.

I have gone literally years between sightings, but where I currently live I know where I can go to see as many as 5 in one day. Four of those are sitting on showroom floors and have been for a long time (sad isnt it??). There is a guy who has some sort of relationship with an Opel dealership that had a 348 convertible I saw from time to time and now seems to have a 550 or 575 that I have seen almost daily on one route I take to work.

Now if I could only get someone to take me for a ride in one of them....

Of all the places I have been London was far and away the best place to spot exotics. You really have to keep your head on a swivel there. Monaco was a distant second in my opinion.

I've mentioned this before as well. Last trip I saw dozens of Aston Martins, Bentley's (including a vintage Continental R), numerous Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini, a McLaren F1, Alfa SZ (modern variety), etc and that was a day and a half.

A week before I saw a McLaren F1 on the road up in the Napa Valley! - George

I've been to London three times, haven't spotted a thing. I'm trying to recall if I've opened an umbrella indoors lately or broken a mirror.

I guess you have to go to the right spots. I can remember seeing a lot of good stuff around the Hyde Park area.

Here in SB there is a lot of money and classic cars, but I rarely see one. Probably 3-4 all told in 10 years(some multiple times). We went down to Bev. Hills last weekend and I saw 6 Lambos and 5 Ferrari's driving around(among a bunch of other $100K+ cars). Nothing classic, only new models. It amazes me how many people used these supercars as daily drivers. Went to OC after that and same kind of thing there. I sure wish all these garaged classics would get out and play here, certainly the chances of getting hit are exponentially less than the LA area.

This is farm country, despite being the capitol of the state of Oregon. In five years, I have seen only a Testarossa and a black 365 GTB Daytona coupe. My best luck has been in Rome, London, Orange County, and Geneva. Otherwise, I pull to cover off and sneak a peak when I visit my garage to get a beer.

I know of about 6 Ferrari's in my area. 2 308's, 2 TR's, 1 360 spyder and 1 550. To see any on the road, then about 1 per month.
