Thanks, I will also be using it for some minor maintenance on the cars which I do on my own.

True, in my case the lift is connected to an air compressor which kicks 4 steel levers each in every post into the latch bars inside every post. This locks the runways into position and even if the cable breaks the lift can't fall down. The 4 locks can only be deactivated by pressing a button and letting the compressed air out, slightly lifting the runways and only then can the lift be lowered.

I am expecting my new F430 any day now, so I did a test with my 4 post lift with the SL55 on top to measure max. height below the lift and I guess I am lucky. I have 50" below the lowest part of the lift, so I guess it's just enough to fit the F430 which has a height of just less than 48" :).
When the F430 arrives I will try it the other way round, with the F430 on top, maybe I will have more clearance that way.
    But anyway it worked.

Tarek, in the pic above, is the lift at one of its lock/stop positions, or is that where you stopped the lift ?

Whew, that's good. I would hate to see you think you have 50", park the 430 underneath, and come out the next morning to find the lift settled down to the next lowest stop !!!!

I had received my 2006 F430 last September and then I bought a second 2007 F430 last February which I am receiving next week and I just sold my 2006. I wanted a few extra options which I didn't have in the first F430 although I had spec'ed my first one. I wanted the rear CF challenge grill, CC brakes, CF interior, ball polished rims and the bordeuax interior leather instead of the black interior which I had in my first F430 Coupe. Exterior color remains the same, Grigio Silverstone.

Might put the F430 on top if the measurments are better. Will give it a try when it arrives.

Thanks Erik. It's a Grigio Silverstone (Silverstone Grey) F430 Coupe with a Bordeaux interior.

Congrats on the new car. When you get the new car take a picture with one car on top of the lift and one on the bottom.
    Thanks

Yep. It's a miracle that all fits :). Anyway there is a second larger garage door on the other side, from where I am taking the picture. My garage is sort of L-shaped.
