Ok, time to rate the car, Color, Very Good choice, should be on most import exotics. Custom Doors Extreamly bad choice, although no one would see them unless you were stupid enough to get out of this car with your friends around Interior Acceptable, (if you were sitting in the car no one would notice anyway) Bumpers, Bad choice, couldn't hid'em in with out a car cover Tires & Wheels, Really Bad choice, see above Dash Acceptable to good Overall, Test drivers passengers polled would prefer not to be seen in this one
No mention of the Michael Schumacher steering wheel. All it needs is the BOOMBA BOOMBA BOOM BOOM BOOM sound system and a bunch of gold chains hanging from the mirror. Seriously if he threw in the stock wheels and door hinges it might sell. The way it looks now $12,000 might be all the money.
I just noticed that with those 19" wheels on it, it sits high enough to run a floor jack under without driving up on ramps first.
If the doors can be inexpensively brought back to stock, normal wheels and a front bumper would make this an acceptable car if the money was right.
I need to know if the turn signals on the mirrors actually work BEFORE I bid on it Famous last words: "All belts look good ."
The seller has none of the original parts to fix this problem (wheels, bumper, door hinges, steering wheel). 87K miles, "shows no major rust" translates into "some rust". Looks like it's a "parts car" I stand by my earlier statement, $12,000 is all the money.
I got my barbecue out last weekend for the first time after the winter. The grill part (where you put the steaks to cook em) was missing. It had been stored in the storage room in my apartment building (which other people can access), so I assumed someone had stolen it. I have an idea I may know where it went...
To me it shows a total lack of respect! Not alone though, unfortunately, here a couple of weeks again saw a Mondi T with the most bling chrome wheels I've ever seen and an interior to puke over, not to mention the 567 speakers and F logos on every panel...bring back the rope
If smaller wheels where fitted (more in proportion to the original ones, should never really go more than 2"'s over stock and also lower it) along with a normal looking steering wheel, then the horrid front grille was replaced and those nasty door hinges changed back stock it would sell just like any other car. They just stand out as glaringly Over The Top mods. Most are not that expensive to change but then if they where changed it would probably sell very easily!
You like the seats? That is the ugliest vinyl I have ever seen. The whole thing is awful. The front grill is hideous. The wheels have to be the worst - they are way too big...... Poor 308 ughhh...
I have joked often over the years of someone "pimping" a 308, but never thought I would ever see one. All it needs is some white wall tires and a fun fur interior, and you could be groovin. I always thought a full mouth grill looked good, but obviously NOT when you use the aftermarket "bar" typr from a Chevy pickup truck. And whats with the big tire treads on the door panels? And what a slap in the face to Enzo to put "Lambo" style door opening hinges on a Ferrari. I was waiting to see that four cylinder Fiero motor in it. I figured that was how they would get rid of that abortion of a car. Chalk up another carb 308 bites the dust.
Unfortunately I've seen a few pimped 308s Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
