In the article it says that Uday had 1200 cars, one of which was a Lambo LM002 (featured elsewhere on F-Chat). The author understands why the Iraqi people would have done the damage they did to this 550 as U-day bought it at a time when most Iraqis were starving and he was also reselling UN provided medical supplies at a huge markup to the Iraqi people. So, I guess that and the raping and killing put him in people's bad books.

For those of you who read French: "On peut les comprendre. A l’époque où Uday s’est procuré cette Maranello, beaucoup d’Iraquiens mourraient de faim (le pays était sous embargo) et en plus, Uday revendaient à prix d’or les aliments et les médicaments fournis par les ONG."

Sad to see a Ferrari treated in this manner regardless of the circumstances :(. But I guess rage makes people blind.

"One can include/understand them. At the time when Uday got this Maranello, many Iraqis would die of hunger (the country was under embargo) and moreover, Uday resold at ransom price the food and the drugs provided by ONG."

Pour vous, mes amis de Ferrari-chat, the entire article translated into eeenglish:

Knowing that Uday Hussein owned about 1200 cars and that I've already shown you what happened to his LM002, the question you ask is: "What about the other 1199 cars?"

Here then is one of the "1199": a Ferrari Maranello which is worth more than the Lamborghini. Apparently, at the fall of Saddam, the Irakian people relentlessly sought out the cars of his son. Ferrari fans, don't read the following.

We can understand them. At the time when Uday bought this Maranello, many Irakians were dying of hunger (the country was under embargo) and also, Uday was reselling at a big markup food and medication supplied by the UN.

Also, in one of the other articles below this one it says there was a strike at the Ferrari factory in Maranello last Thursday.

I remember watching a documentary on the History Channel and they said that Saddam became so furious at Uday one time that he torched a bunch of his cars.
