    What if there was an armadillo that had incredible telepathic powers and could read people's minds and thoughts? But unfortunately, since he WAS an armadillo and could not understand english, he couldn't understand what he was sensing in his mind and he couldn't relate these received telepathic thoughts to anybody because he couldn't speak? Would anybody ever know of his amazing superpowers or would he merely live his life as a confused armadillo?

    It gets even worse......I ran over an armadillo on the road between Llano and Austin. What if.........that was your armadillo?

    What if......he read my mind just before I squeezed his all over the asphalt? His last thought might have been......"Stupid armadillo...he thinks he is car-proof"!

    The armadillo would go insane not understanding all the noises in his head. In his madness, he'd stumble out onto some 2-lane road and get crushed by a pickup truck. Just like 90% of the other armadillos.
