Why beat your head against the wall using points, old lubricants, tires, brakes or original fuse blocks, unless you are doing a museum piece. Life moves on - have fun :)

In architectural preservation terms, when dealing with a significant property, making a change that cannot be returned to its original state is a no-no. Why not cars?? Have fun with it and if the next owner wants to go retro, (dead stock), let him do it.

If Ferraris are meant to be driven, please let me move on from 205/70x14 antique tires.

The wheels really look nice, but personally I think they look a little to big, mabe with a brake upgrade to take up some of the empty space between the spokes they will look more in proportion. If you have had a chance to take it for a good ride, have you noticed any difference in the handling/cornering with the narrower side walls?? Stiffer ride, feeling more bumps, ect?? I am running 205/55 front & 245/45 rear on standard 16' rims.

Bottom line is, it's you car and your money do what makes you happy. Enjoy the ride.

I love the look when the car is fitted with big brakes and lowered! Otherwise, I'd do as I did, put the 16" qv wheels on my '82 308 GTBi. Aftermarket rims don't work for me, but genuine Ferrari, such as those 360s certainly can look great!! Ciao, Dino
