So I just heard from my little sister that there is a big "gang" problem at her high school. It's so idiotic I can't even begin to explain. My parents live in an area where there is no "ghetto," no hard living, no struggle to survive. When you pull into the parking lot at her school all you see are BMWs and MBs. It's just ridiculous. All you can do is laugh when you hear "John's Creek Gang" also known as the "G-Squad."

What's worse is she thinks this is ok and she knows one of the kids who pulled a gun on someone. It's really starting to piss me off. I just want to drive them all to Atlanta, where I live, drop them off and see how "gangster" they really are. I want to do something about it so badly, but it's not worth going to jail (or dying) for.

Yeah I find these rich suburban "ghetto" kids to be so lame and annoying I would love to see them try and make it over here.

All she needs are some nunchuck or bo staff skills.

I have a nice 4-foot katana that she can use. Not sure she's quite up to Napoleon's skill level with the other two. On a serious note, I will be investing in a Glock 22 very shortly.

I know what you mean. I grew up in a city that wasn't too bad...but now I live in Santa Barbara and I keep hearing about 'gangs.'

The other day a 14 year old kid was stabbed and has his head crushed in because there was a huge brawl on State St (the main street...very expensive area)

It was a fight between kids that went to school on the west side and the east side.

Completely ridiculous...even more so that someone died because of it:-(

I know what you mean. I'm in a very well off area with "gangsta" kids who are whiter than snow. One day in NYC should sort them out...

Blame it on rap music glorifying Atlanta nga:D:D:D

Houston is pretty bad itself but where my house is I don't think its that bad to my knowledge...

These kids are looking for a sense of belonging because their parents either aren't around or can't handle them.

Get that movie Havoc, and play it for her. Maybe she'll see how stupid they really are.

These fake gangs crack me up.

Or show them the movie with Jamie Kennedy... I think it's called Malibu's Most Wanted. It's about a white gangster rapper from the streets of...Malibu.

+1 Ironically the same symptoms of neglect at both ends of the economic scale.

On a lighter note, I heard on the radio the other day that a guy went to his ex-GF's with a sword to threaten her, and her new roommate came out with his sword and disarmed the disgruntled ex after a brief swordfight! So, it appears that the girl moved in with someone else from their Dungeons and Dragons group of friends.

    LOL!

What would a good 'gang' name be?
Maybe PAP should have a street 'handle'! :)

Same story here in Denver....I live in the suburbs, and look at all these "thug" kids in the hallways of my high school and roll my eyes. If only I could take these kids down to certain areas where I practice track and field everyday... (East Denver... Park Hill, Montbello, Aurora, etc) and see what they make of that.

Oh god, I agree x10000000000 don't even get me started.

I guess for kids its just a rebellious phase. I can't stand kids still in college that still act this way...

We referred to them as "Gap Gangsters" at our school. Well off kids who thought they were bad-ass wearing their little Gap khakis and having their moms pick them up after frontin' all day at the mall.

It's the new American way. Don't take ownership for your actions, blame someone else for them.

You have a point, I shouldn't point my fingers at "the man"(music industry slang). Maybe technology and globalization will change the way people survive.
