    Remember, hp isn't everything.

Lexus will do something to **** up the Lexus and make it a less desirable drivers car. *cough*No manual tranny *cough*

    nissan GTR.

like I said, im not crazy about the looks of the current generation 3-series. it won't age well at all. the 2002's, E30, 36, and 46 are timeless beauties ;)

so long as they have F1/paddle, it should be good.

I'm not disputing that it would be fun car to drive.

If it's true F1 style that would be sweet. I'm not a fan of the auto-paddles. I've driven a Z4 with them and while they were fun and all, they were very gimmicky to me. It would be a plus if they were left down, right up. Even it it was the auto-paddles.

I think it's gorgeous. I'm not crazy about some of BMW's latest designs, but I think they really hit the spot with the M5 and this new M3.

think when all is said and done, could likely pick up a slightly used M5 for the price, sadly.

I find this hard to believe, as the RS4 does not offer the DSG, something about HP and Torque rating. Where did you read about the M3 getting a DSG transmission?

Ok, I'm on the list, 4th, no markup from MSRP. Get to pick options in a few months hopefully. Should be a really fun balanced ride on the track or to dinner.

i've heard its more around 70k or so...100k would be ridiculous... for a nissan?! i dont care if it's a great car, but 6 figures for a nissan is too much.

They didn't have final pricing yet, what you guys think? Also, will many be doing markup?

theres no final pricing but im guessing that base will be around 57k or so...so maybe 65k or so after options?

i asked my local dealer about it, and they said they should be getting theirs around november...

they said the expected markup is ~20k!!! i laughed. When the M5 and M6 came out they had a 20k markup...needless to say, they never sold them. they still have a brand new '06 M5 sitting on their lot that USED to be in the showroom, and now it's just sitting outside getting rained and sh*tted on, becuase they can't seem to move it, even at MSRP. they're pretty greedy out here.

Thought about the sedan but bah! Better resell for sure with the coupe, and only have a 6 year old, so should be fine. If needing beemer sedan, would just chip and further mod a 335i I think.
