Aussie Ferrari Spotters Thread??

does the 355CH have an equal ride height (top of wheelarch to ground) front to back? or is the front a tad higher?

 

You can set it up any which way I suppose mate.

 

yeah i was referring to a typical 'street' setting/what PP has

 

for good balance/rake the front wheel arch looks much higher than the rear (even though the chassis actually slopes down toward the front)

 

yeah most cars seem to be like that, tad higher at front.

my car sill is more or less level...but front higher

 

Yesterday i saw a very sick looking red 360 at nav smash repairs in clayton
Front end was bare chassis except the rims it was sitting on. Rear 1/4 was also dented badly. didnt get a look at the rear of the car.

 

saw a red 599 pulled up behind me at the lights coming out of telstradome carpark the other day, sounded awsome when he took off passed me. got a picture on my fone of it behind me through one of my mirrors. came out pretty good.

 

red 360 spider picking up trophyesque woman outside belgian beer cafe, freshwater place southbank.

was bucketing with rain, looked cool

 

Saw a red 599 the other day,

Then brother saw a 430 at harbour town today.

 

Is anyone going to the Ferrari Concours in Melbourne tomorrow? Does anyone know what cars will be there? The FCA Vic website suggest about 80 cars will be there - I'm looking forward to it, and praying for sunshine and no rain (just for one day, then plenty of rain please).

Today i saw a greyish/red 430. looked ok, but no wow factor. it made lots of noise....and my mum wasn't impressed.

later on i saw a blackish 599....first i've heard with a few revs up....sounded pretty damn good. I think it's the best sounding '07 car that i've heard so far.
it was almost causing accidents with all the horn blowing and rubber necking people were doing.

 

WOW last nite, driving along side a 360 modena down punt road, for atleast 3km, under bridge, it sounded unbelievable. it was the same one as pictured above. It would have been awsome on video.

couldn't have had a standard exhaust, then. they sound pretty ordinary otherwise.

To tell you the truth Pap, I prefer the 348 without the white racing lines, white wheels and outrageous spoiler on the back. Looks much better in original condition.

Yeah, its always parked on Chapel near Cafe Greco. Does sound fantastic, a real rumble when idle and roar when it takes off. Great theatre when watching from a cafe!

 

saw a black Testarossa cruising on pulteney this arvo. gf actually pointed at it before i did!

 

I saw a black Lamborghini Murcielago and red F430 within 2 mins of each other on Melbourne's Monash Freeway. Stunning in orange afternoon sun.

 

I actually agree with you mate.
I was making fun of it. I think the white Speedline wheels look great on it, but the white stripes are horrid and I did not see the rear spolier.
That pacticular 348 looks silly, but thanks for sharing the pics mate.
