Absolutely impossible for me to choose a single one. Here's some that come to my mind. In no particular order.

Regarding the 1978 Camaro Z28, yeah, flame me if you will, but I think the '78 Camaro is one of the sexiest cars ever. The taillight plastic sucks, but the design combined with the spoiler and rear window angle, is awesome...IMO. Also, the red doesn't do the rear justice. It needs to be a charcoal or black to make it look great.

Agreed. Reducing the size of a photo of that magnitude would be blatant blasphemy!

I agree, lots of industrial mesh and big wings here. IMO, the Pagani is a disaster unless you're a sci-fi fan.

I'd say the 550/575 is the last nice looking transom Ferrari has done. The 328 and Euro 308 are also pretty because they're so impossibly low and flat in back. The 355 is chunky and imposing, pretty from all angles. Might be sacrilege to say it here, but the Porsche 993 tail (sans wing) is very graceful, probably because it was designed by Englishmen, not Germans.

The F430/Enzo are brilliant cars, but those puny taillights will die along with them, I suspect. And the 360 is tail is nondescript - doesn't look bad, sort of 355-ish - not unattractive, but the best tail ever in the history of cars?!

And the Camaro?! All I remember is those cheap-o black and plastic-chrome plastic filler flaps that never lined up right, faded in the sun and then fell off. Fabulous quality from the golden age of GM. That's the "best-looking rear end ever?" Pass the pipe, please.
