What is that famous quote.."Damn the omissions...Full Speed Ahead".....my car is registered in rural Alabama....so emissions are not a must......still like the twin intake, twin ecu setup on the 2.7...believe it has a little more hp out of the box....and is a little more tuneable

There are certainly more 2.7 tunners' out there. What do you think of using the 360 ECU ???

I think the 360 ECU would possibly require new sensors, wiring harness changes, and alot of reworking..not to mention cost.......355 setup is adequate for now....of course this may need changing or modifying when and if a MAP configuration can be adapted.

Yes, and quite the opposite. All you do is a re-flash, and then gut the AFM's..

Engine is already on the floor in a 360...

Lowered the variable tracks, moved the crossover throttles closer to valve, longer stacks ABOVE the crossover throttles.

Note.. main throttles stay same distance from valve...

WOW....lots of thinking and work to redo all that......you've obviously done your homework.....is that why you added the spacer(longer stacks above the crossover)? Wish you were close by, I'd by you a brew or two.
Phil, would you please post some pics of the plenum spacer and throttle/stack/track mods.

    Many Thanks

STOP NOW... tack towards boost (the alloy plenums of a 348 are begging for it), hoist the mainsail and you'll be home in no time.

    Phil...thanks for the encouragement..lol
I have done the turbo thingy for the past 30 years and can say that I have had the opportunity to both own and drive some of the greatest turbo legends in motoring history....and yes they can produce amazing hp numbers with very little effort....but I have chosen this time to stay with a normally aspirated 355...the sound is like no other. Kinda funny, my wifes weekly suv grocery getter(normally aspirated) which is pretty stock produces approx. 530hp..520ft/lb of torque...4wheel drive w/a 7spd paddle shifter, has bigger brakes than a 430 and automatically begins to lower ride height as speed increases....now if I could just get the 355 body panels to fit...yahoooo

Nope.....V8...32valve,4cam....rev limit hits at 8600rpms.......Cayenne Turbo is NOT normally aspirated.......speed limiter is set at 160mph,but remove that and who knows what the top speed could be.........and it's reliable and virtually maintenance free.....driven it hard for over 20,000miles and have done nothing more than change engine oil/filter and fuel and air filters.....care to take another guess....lol

Well no matter how much the intake and exhaust flows are increased the stock ecu is the BIG limiting factor at this point of developement....heads will remain stock except for 1mm oversized valves....ex/in port shape will not be changed because it is too risky and when you f-up they are scrap aluminum...only port matching will be done for intake and exhaust systems.....I would like to change the cams but that is major dollars and will just leave stock with just micro-polish and coating. RC Engineering will be furnishing new matching high flow injectors.....and I will be contacting a company in New Zealand to see if they can make a replacement board for the ecu or a piggy back system with laptop plugin....they have indicated their system allows removal of AFM.....with laptop plugin mapping can be controlled in real time for getting close on engine dyno and then fine tuning on chassis dyno. I am amazed that the twin coil oem ignition can keep up with firing at near 9000rpms and think that an individual coilover plug setup might give some added hp/torque on top end....the 360 arrangement appears to be a really close fit,but there is a wide selection of motorcycle units that may work even better....I will be talking to MSD and see if they can help with this configuration.
If anyone can add some input into this I would greatly apprreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.

Dude, fuel is always a factor! The 348 mods require greater fuel input via fuel pump (maybe), injector and pressure regulators along with remapping. Then there's what to do with the tbs' - 8 355's or 2 360's? The latter is far less complex, a la Group77.

Remember that the stooges are essentially trying to take a 20 mpg performance car to 14-15 mpg standards in an effort to find more ponies, or convert a 348 to a 355 in raw numbers. :D Blowing the intake is gonna just suck up the juice in a different way. Wish I owned a service station...
