is it true that the 412s are made better than the 400i? Can someone give me the pros and cons? Thanks! -JIM
I have a 412 and a 365. I've never owned a 400. I can tell you the 412 is a pretty rugged machine. I doubt that the 400 is poorly built in comparison, but that the 412, representing a decade and a half of both immediate lessons in terms of the particular design development and general advances in technology is an improved product. It has an increase in power, anti-lock brakes and other general improvements. It may be that some specific design or build issues were discovered over the course of time as well, like a move to twin radiators on the 328, but I've never seen anyone catalog them. I assume there are some of them.
