328 gts air con question-Help

Is there a valve to close to make sure I am not brining in hot air from out side on really hot days. I have all new parts and re gas with still the old style york compressor.It blows cold and I know its never going to be that cold but every bit helps. If this valve/vent is there I cant find it or dont understand the air cond properly.
P.S I am in Western Australia so it gets dam hot!!!!

 

The best way to enjoy the A/C in a 328 is to close everything up. Top on windows up and don't forget to turn off the 2 regular vent fans (drivers & passengers side) The A/C comes out of the center vent on the dash and the 2 vents under the radio. The regular outside air comes out of the 2 end vents on the dash and a vent in each foot well. I think that by just turning the vent fans off that will keep air from comming into the cabin.
