just when i was starting to like you, you spoil it all. now you add the wars and blood bath...**********... i will add that to the list ! 2 people buying the same car as me,at the same time as ,one of them part of the lpower kissed my head when we met... he was also wiring funds for that same car i was...saved him and myself 105k used for a 99 roadster that was in kuwait while the car was on the burtoni website! are you sure you want to use this for combat ? i was a war hero there ! got medals for it...i put a criminal behind bars ! was able to prove he bought fake fiero /lambo plates to make his car into a usa spec ! while it was a euro spec..made everyone belive he had a usa car for sale for 105k ! many fell for it...including me. caught the scam 5 min. before the wire left ! thanks to the letter "e" for euro in the vin versus "u" for usa.... the "e" with the compliance labels for usa were a problem ! the guy was a lawyer from california that ended up in kuwait. couldnt belive that a guy called ryan who sells these fake plates,until today ! still has them for sale .replica plates... the lawyer had ordered a full set and ryan who is part of that lpower had come to attest that he sent them by fed ex with the guy's vin stamped into them... blood !! you bet... there had to be blood.i wanted blood and i made blood come out ! a lpower member who sells fake plates ! allowed to be there and continue selling ! a lawyer that comes in saying he bought the plates because he had a car accident to damaged his driver door and damaged the plate ! which doesnt exist on a euro car ... are you sure you want to go there joe ? i love recounting that story...it makes me realize how dangerous it is to deal outside your state,never mind outside your country ! it is a lesson that everyone took with great consideration... you're not a cool guy joe. i see there is no way to get you to relax and cool down.... i will try to move away from the thread if i dont get pulled back in !

YES, that means in The State of CALIFORNIA, where the URL and IP are located....MUST conform to their laws..... YES, it means that sales have occurred where a THIRD party collects money for the "arrangement" of the sale between others... THAT IS CALLED SELLING VEHICLES JOE>>> Which means you MUST REPORT these "earnings" to the FEDS for IRS taxes, as well as to the State of California for Income Tax AND STATE SALES TAX!! Alright guys, this thread looks like it has gone beyond its legitimate purpose in raising issues about the description of Roy's car. At this point, I would urge Roy and Joe to take this offline. Roy, threatening to drop the dime on someone may be considered extortion, so I wouldn't pursue this. Unless there is a legitimate reason to keep this thread open, I am going to request that it be locked.

BOY that is a FAR stretch to cal dropping a "dime" on someone extorion... There is no "threat" made here. It is fact. I have no intention nor any care for what Joe does in the State of California. I am not a resident there, so its not my concern. I have no intention of dropping a "dime as you so call it. I am making a POINT of what IMO is correct business dealings. I point this out as I HAD considered doing the same out of a California Location as well.......and that is what the State of California requires for me to do that type of business as they would of anyone else. Bonus points to him...BUT I do state facts, not name calling an be-littling people.

I have one last point to make and then yes...I think it has all been covered and we can go on... But you most understand this is a shall we say "open debate" and in ALL "open debates" there never seems to be an end...each side puts a foot forward and each side answers and counter answers, however the other side has STILL yet not provided a LEGUT answer to their actions. I to enjoy the use of the Registry from time to time. I am glad it is there for refrence...I find it VERY hard to believe it is DONE for totaly FREE that someone does not put FOOD on their table for it, pay their rent from it...etc etc.......Maybe not become rich, but that is the choice of the owners. But with each answer JOE and the Registry provide it just furthers my suggestion that his actions were done out of spite!! YET the time is found to go into an entry that ALREADY exsists, already had a more than sufficent description ...and change it to what was obvious a self serving smack below the belt at me and my car.... If you HONESTLY think it was done by MR JOE for the furtherment of the Registry and the 20 years of LOVE and JOY of these cars....... Well I have a 1966 Miura with only 22 orginal KM, never painted, never wrecked, never titled, never sat in, never smoked in....hell still actually sitting at the factory in the back corner that no one "knows" about...and I can get it to you next week for a mere $1.3 million dollars... I just don't like the fact that on this board and others, the self-proclaimed Lambo experts feel it necassary to cast comments or opinions even when not asked or know very little about a particular car. Before I bought my Countach a well known poster felt it necassary to voice an opinion on the car based on a photograph from 25 feet away and no personal knowledge of the car. The opinion was way off and made no sense. On the other hand, there are many here that are pleased to hear of nice cars going to nice owners.
I'll jump in here for only a second...and before I get attacked and questioned as to my intellect or ownership of a Lambo, yes I graduated college, and yes, I own a Lambo, my third in fact. Now on to my point...earlier in this thread, Joe, who was obviously making light of the situation, made the statement that "I suppose when you leave it to us and we make the entry on a grumpy day, you never know what will happen ".... I have a problem with this statement...setting the humor aspect aside and looking at it for what it is, are you actually saying that one of the people that many refer to as a "Lamborghini Historian" (Joe), a person that "on a grumpy day" could post something while attempting to be "witty and humorous", finds it acceptable to label a car as decent, make reference to the number of times it's been for sale, or BRAND a car as "saleproof"??? Old rule really, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it....to simplify matters, all anyone (Joe) had to list on the site was "Currently owned by Roy Cats, Everett, Wa and offered for sale at $595k." There, that's FACT and non-judgemental and also, impersonable. If you scroll through any of the listings on the Registry, there isn't ONE other car on there that carries with it a remotely similiar description. Whether or not you (Joe) feel the car is sellable at the current asking price does not matter, that is YOUR opinion...and has no place on a Registry forum. You boast about stating facts, yet continue to take jabs at anyone who confronts you...I've seen your e-mails pertaining to the condition of this car, I was present during 90% of the coversations leading up to the purchase of this car, the use of the word "decent" is a far cry from the description used during the hype-up portion of the sale. I have to ask if you've even seen the car since it arrived with Roy? I know the answer, but again, not really important is it? As you have stated, many of the cars listed are never seen...but I will question this, "I have listed 3 other P400S, one of which was vastly superior"...if you're going to make this ASSUMPTION, then put pen to paper, you SHOULD take the time and energy, as a "recognized Lamborghini Historian", to really go see the car you are comparring the "vastly superior" car to....that is only fair. Wouldn't you agree? I'm aware of the ongoing riff between the two of you, I'm not getting in the middle of that or going to pass judgements on either of you...BOTH of you are benefitting from this thread through increased hits on the sites, and BOTH of you are suffering from the attacks and comments made here....BOTH of you are well respected individuals in their given fields...seems to me, you (Joe) would want to maintain that....rather than jump in and bash every person that stands up, simply fix the problem and move on... Roy, go back and read the post. What they are saying is that the registry is over 2000 entries in the rear for the newer cars (IE gallardo, gallardo spyder, etc.)
