Option 3. If I could swap the 430 for maybe a 360CS that would be a dream come true (duh).

I'd do choice #7. Buy two Enzo's or I could buy an Enzo and a F430!

Option 3. And then I would spend the rest of my life racking my brains every morning about what car to drive.

Yep, the Leno thing was a joke. Jay doesn't like Ferraris, from what I've read. Had to do largely with the way he was initially treated by an Fcar dealer, I believe. I'm not sure he even owns ONE Ferrari.

    Either options #3 or #4.

    Most likely...Option #3.

    I kid, I kid!!

Mondials are cool....it's just that all other Ferraris are cooler. It's kind of like when looking at the V's Secret catalog, and you know how there's always that one women that you personally find the least desirable? She's still very hot, but RELATIVELY speaking, she's the least desirable of the bunch.

    F355 fan 82: excellent choices.

But when FOUR TIMES as many choices are NOT Ferraris (on your list) as ARE Ferraris, I gotta cringe just a tiny bit...but that's just me.

Having said that, would I give my left, uh, er, you know what, for the cars on your list?...heck yes!!

carguyjohn350: yes, it ALWAYS amazes me that the F50 gets so little "love", relatively speaking, on this board.

About a year ago I considered it my favorite car in the world. Lately I'm liking the Enzo most (I'm, getting used to it's looks), and the F40 seems a more realistic goal for me due to it's much lower price than the F50..

I think the biggest complaint about the F50 is something like: "it looks as if the Powder-puff girls had a sleep-over with the Hello Kitty designers and the F50 was their resultant attempt at designing the Batmobile!"

Yes. I would take the Veyron. Only because I would have trouble find a real black Enzo. No repaints accepted.

Keep this in mind though, Enzos are now in the $1.2-$1.4 range, so I doubt if you could get anything more than a used F360, if that, in todays market for a total of $1.5 million.

    Yep, life can be tough!

Reminds me of the serious problem a certain actor, who shall be nameless, has had to face in the last few years: "Hmmm, now do I stop having sex with Gweneth Paltrow and instead have sex with Jennifer Aniston, or do I stick with having sex with Gweneth....well, I think I'm gonna have to take Jennifer. NOW, do I continue having sex with Jennifer or do I start having sex with ANGELINA JOLIE.....I'M SO CONFUSED, I HATE ALL THESE TOUGH DECISIONS!!!"

I like your creative thinking. You're saying you'd take an F430 over the F40? Is that what you're saying? If we're talking the upcoming F430 Light Pista, then yes, I'd take the LP over the F40....after I put on my Fchat "flame-suit", that is!

Also, you realize that the 2 blokes in question on choice #7 CRASHED those Enzos pretty badly? If you didn't, I'm not putting you down at all...I'm just not sure how clear my feable attempt at humor was.

By the way, how much do badly damaged Enzos roughly go for, and what kind of $ are we talking about to restore them? I smell a "fixer-upper" opportunity!?

No, I think he does like Ferraris, but you were right about the dealers. He thinks they're rude and he doesn't want to deal with them. He doesn't have one Ferrari.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I also think I read that he doesn't believe Fcars are terribly reliable, so I'm not entirely sure he likes Fcars a bunch. But I really don't know for sure.

If he likes them, then why doesn't he buy a used one from a non-Fcar-dealer, and service it at a non-Fcar-dealer as well? Leno certainly could afford ONE Fcar! Just wondering.

The F50 gets no love because people hold it up to the standard of the F40. It wasn't built as a successor to the F40, which is why it wasn't significantly faster. It was built as Ferrari's first expression of Formula 1 in a road car, and it was flawless as that. It had a different mission statement.

Think more along the lines of this: without the F50, the Enzo would not have been.

Option 4 of course, keep the 599,430,and 360. Sell the rest for the F40 and house.

    #2 - Enzo + F40.

Those two right there are the best options on the entire list.

And having a dealers license saves you $123,750 tax... which I would buy an R8 with.

    ...wishful thinking.

Fair enough, it just needs a little forced induction to bring it up to the power level it should be at.
I need to change the clutch on mine, its fried from the turbo. Heh.

In today's market you're not going to get a decent Enzo AND a decent F40 for $1.5 million.

Personally I'd take a 599GTB and invest the rest. :)
