    328 owners -- what material are these hoses? Mine seem to be just heavy rubber hose, and are slightly flattened from the vacuum. The replacement I just got for part 49 was a woven rubber hose that was much stiffer than the rest of the system. I'm wondering what is normal for these.

    You should be able to use most hose for that i.e. coolant etc..., the stiffness in your original hose might be due to age.

    I am looking at changing all my hoses to Samco or similar and I think when I measured that one it was around 13/14mm

    47 and 49 hoses has to be stiff enough as so they won't colapse under vacuum.
