Very cool thread, wonderful replies, just so funny. Do you european guys remember when the EURO showed up? Nobody wanted the EURO. Everybody was happy and proud with his own currency. Today its just wonderful to travell all around (yeah, still with a few unconvincable) Europe with just 1 currency in your pockets.......and the Euro is strong, even stronger than the weak $. One more example what a huge community can do for all & everybody. Some are still counting in DM, Gulden, Pesetas.......no problem, thats why we have and can use "bablefish" to understand each other - if we want! Cheers & Groeten Wolfgang
I highly recommend an additional language thread in: - Swiss ....this could attrac Trevi to come back - Bavarian ....for cinque, f40org and all the other mountain dwellers

Regards, saludos, ciao... Wolfgang i hope you post here for many time, i don´t understund like you why is closed the other thread but if i am the guilty i'm sorry and i apology for it. i only want respect for the people who don't speak English, because not everybody knows this language. thank you everybody.
Mestreech is neet breid maar laaaaaaaaaaaaaangk....................... enne: Remund is venloosch, Remunj is Remunjs
¡Subsistencia encendido!
Hi Wolfie glad to see you back.... Difficult question this one. I agree that the language threads have broken the euro section apart a bit. There are so many dutch members posting in the dutch section it would be difficult to remove it. I don't think we should be making any more language threads and certainly no more subsections. I also think stickying is bad. If a thread is popular it will stay at the top automatically.
Hi Simon, The PoleApart idea is not bad and could help and satisfy each of us. --------------- Originally Posted by PoleApart I would either 1. Wolfie, we are speaking a dialect here in the south of Holland. It's a mixture of dutch/german/belgium. You won't find it in Babblefish I am so glad you're back buddy!! Alltought I don't want to discuss the languagetreads anymore, the EU section is comming alive since you're back and that's great. You know what................................I am gonna start a new tread in a few minutes...............just some pics
There are 3 or 4 language threads which are used regularly. Mixing all non-english posts together would cause chaos for the good users who use those threads.
Do you not think creating more sub forums would weaken the euro section even more? Only 2 or 3 language threads are used regularly. It would make no sense to create 10 language sub forums.
Roel, mhmmmmm......indigenous dialect? Or is it just your hangover and alcohol remnants from last night? Damn, cant read/understand it - where is the german part in it you mention?
Simon, who cares about? It is already exploded and totally out of control ! (one more time have to ask SERIOUS the question: who moderats this XXX threads?) So whats wrong to fire up the chaos - we are already in Nirvana!
Wolfgang the bigger threads have their own moderator. The other threads are moderated like everywhere else on the board. We can't read every post. We rely on other users to let us know if something need moderating thats what the ! button is for
Wolfgang is not happy with this answer, sorry. So I will and have to hit this "!" button like hell the next time (watch out! ) - cause I feel ofended, cause I don`t understand, cause....I ll let you know with each hit/report.
That's because this new situation is just 4 weeks old. Have you seen the # hits and replies for the newer subitems? And also, what do you care ? You are a dutch member but I have seen less than 3 posts of you the last 2 years in the dutch forum. Grow up.
Henkie; this is just the response I was expecting from you and also the reason that I left the forum. Hey; why don't you just close this thread if you don't like the discusion?
Wolfgang, in your first post it sounds a bit like that you blame me that the thread is closed. I didn't close anything, I was just posting in it over and over to make the things clear. And I am only a moderator for the dutch spoken forum, which became very big and needed moderation once a while. As Ton was away several weeks for his work we pm'd Simon all the time to justify things which was not easy for him as he couldn't read/understand it. A pity that the dutch sub-forums bring all this up. Well, at least everybody is active now !
