Desireable or not theres just not alot of GTS's out there for sale of any year.
The guy thats looking for a nice one is going to expect to pay more for a GTS than a Spider or Coupe regardless of color. 70 to 80 grand is the going rate for a gts with low miles and up to date services. My take was i didnt mind paying more for a car that was near perfect condition w/ low miles, than the one that needed 15,000 in manifolds, valves and services. Plus mine had the challenge grill and a brand new tubi installed plus nice 19
wheels, all things i wanted for my own car any way, Id of paid 10 grand for those 3 things alone. So its not like i paid 10 grand over for a striped down base 355 id expect to pay more for nice options and Upgrades.

I've seen several 95 GTS's sell for over $80k within the last year. I don't think a 98 would command a $30k premium over a 95. The price diference is shrinking very fast.

I think it is a beautiful car and I do hope you get $80K for it, I am just being realistic, with the price of 360's dropping like rocks---it doesn't help the 355 market right now...

shouldnt that have read ARE the most desirable options???
    1. coupe/targa/spider... buyers pref... i prefer spiders.
    2. Yellow....very exotic color.. only around 60 yellow (348) spiders made it to the USA.. some prob are totalled.. so when i go to sell my car, somebody is going to want a yellow 348 spider, and I WILL HAVE IT...red is always a perfect Ferrari color, but yellow is RARE.
    3. F1.. big option, big premium, but still highly sought after

So your car has had a full service sometime in the last 3 years?

(Preferably in the last 1.5 years - so the new owner gets a little bit of
value before his next service is due)

The valve guides have been changed?

The manifolds have been replaced, either with an aftermarket header or
with the QV replacement/update of the stock units?

If yes, and you have proof, tell me where to send the $80k cashier's check.

    If not, well then.. not.

Might as well put a clutch in while doing the major, that is what I did! They are not adjustable, so if it release high, it needs replacement. I was pretty much part cost; however, flywheel, throw-out bearing could add up cost if needed to be replace!

I think this thread lost its way some time ago but I am going to try to bring it back to life...
Once again, I am looking for a 1995 355 Berlinetta. If you have any leads or would consider selling the car in your garage, please send me a PM.
    Thanks
    Luke
