Ferrari Sightings

Around 12:15 on Pelham Rd. in Greenville, SC dark green Maserati Spyder, '02. Not exactly an F-car, but has an F-engine.

 

Saw a 360 spider in Silver at exit 33 in Mooresville getting on the south bound entrance rampto I=77 about 6:30 had a wing on the rear and dealer tags.

n Folly Road, heading away from Folly Beach this afternoon, about 3ish maybe, I saw a red 512 (I think? I always get the ones with vents on the side mixed up) and a silver Aston Martin convertible in traffic trying to get over those couple bridges.. Didn't get a good enough look to see if it was a DB9 Volante or a V8 Vantage Roadster.

About an hour later (closer to 4-5ish I guess), on I26 heading from Charleston towards Columbia, saw a super sexy red 430 spider heading in the opposite direction.

Any of these sound familiar?

Parked a black Gallardo at work tonight and saw a gray Ford GT on Glenwood South at about 11:30 pm.

Red/tan 360 spider on bass chapel around 2:00

 

Saw a bordeaux red Lotus Elise parked in front of Jillians last night around 11pm in Columbia, SC

 

light blue phantom last night at the bobcats game

 

red nsx then not more than two secons later, a silver elise. both on woodruff rd

 

I talked to a salesmen at Bentley St. Louis a couple of weeks ago and he told me about selling the cars to the brothers in post #689. He said that he got the Lambo thru a dealer in Texas. I think Houston. He had the car in St. Louis for a couple of days before delivering it. He said that the orange roadster was one of the sweetest cars that they had thru there.

 

Red 430 Spyder on Carmel road. I saw it several cars waiting to pull out of a shopping center, I pulled into the ending lane, slowed down, and waited for it to come out.

 

Tan roll hoops? It was probably Christenbury... he's always on Carmel.

 

Whoops, I did not mean to say spyder, was a coupe.

 

yellow 360 at IHOP in Pineville this morning. Ive seen this car 3 to 4 times per week for the last month in various places. I just can seem to catch up with the owner. (no, its not Russ)

 

while driving my boxer down jetton rd, i passed a yellow murci roadster driving up...

Rubino Micalizzato 430 coupe in downtown Columbia this afternoon around 2ish. Really nice older gentleman and his wife. I was in line behind him at Starbucks and they gave "Enzo" as the name for their drink order

 

I just saw my first ever Ferrari, I believe it was a 456. All I know about it was it has a v12 in the front, is older than a 612 and it was black. It was in Mooresville somewhere, and if anyone knows the owner tell them they made my day. I was also working last night (I work at Brewster's in Mooresville) and I saw a yellow Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, and it was b-e-a-utiful. Again if anyone knows the owner tell them they made my day yesterday. (I also had a Jaguar XK convertible come through the drivethrough and it was pretty cool) Well thats it for now

 

That was Danny Burnstein. If you want to see that one and others, we will be getting together at Starbucks on Forest this Sunday between about 2 and 5. We used to do this at least once a month, but haven't this year. Usually between 5 and 10 cars. Have a new guy with a Gallardo and Floyd Harper's '69 Daytona (which I got a chance to experience yesterday)should be there.

 

Sounds like fun. Would it be strange if I showed up though? I only briefly spoke with Mr. Burnstein and his wife. I guess I'm a bit nervous that I would be the random young guy that shows up at their group meet.

I have a sportbike too, that probably wouldn't help matters any.

 

The only thing that would be strange would be if you call him Mr. Burnstein (JK). It's very informal. Just some guys havin' coffee and talking about cars. We have strangers that walk up all the time. Only requirement is a love of horsepower. Bring your bike and camera.

Parked at Rae Villiage across from the entrance of Ilios Noche (probably in there eating lunch) at around 3pm on 4/12.

Did my best to identify if I know the owner but, alas - it's a red Ferrari... not many of those ya know. NC plates that were std issue.

In the case there is aquaintence, I didn't have time to drop a card or pop into IN to say "Hi!" - my apologies.
