    I have to admit, this turned out a lot better than I expected and is miles away from what the house looked like at the beginning.

    for all the well wishes. We should be done in about 2 months. It's the inspections that take time. Plumbing and electric next week. Should take about 2 weeks. By July 1 should be sheetrock and ready for flooring and tile.

    That looks really nice. I also had a hard time envisioning the outcome based on the original house, but this looks great.

    But things are moving along. We have about 4 weeks left. Here is the outside, pretty much finished. Sheetrocking this week and flooring next week. I'll start taking pix of the inside then.

    i made a scrap book of our remodeling transformation that we keep in the familyroom... so when people ask about all the work you have done, you can just show them the transformation in pics.
