Yes, Mas du Clos for sure but the car? You are sure about 88520?

Not 100%, hence the question mark. It was discussed here some time ago but I am unsure what was concluded at the time.

#88520 was sold at auction a few years back. The car in the video has a distinctive steering wheel and the auction photos of # 88520 may yield the answer. If you have access to an auction results data base it would be easy to check it out. I will have a look when I get time.

Tomgt, thanks for the pic in Dijon, here is some "yellow pics" taken when I discovered the car in the back of JMB garage!!
Regarding the video in Mas du Clos, no information in the video in French regarding the car, for sure it's an LM, not a GTE, but no information on the vin number.
For info, Mas du Clos is closed for f...... French administrative reason, not approved by FFSA for security reasons, as well as some others historical tracks: welcome in France!

Thanks for the photos! I mentioned before that I saw 88779 (yellow) with some stickers on it I believe in 2000 or 2001 in Place des Jacobins Mall in Le Mans town centre without engine. At that time I did not know it was the ex Ennea Team Le Mans 1996 car. Even my camera was at the camp ground, so no pics.

Still its 'race'paint of FFSA 1997(?)/1998, but to me it looked good in factory yellow colors. I certainly like the IGOL blue/yellow colors, Ferraris do not need to be red.

Isn't that the point of racing?

When I restored my 360 N-GT I found that one rear aluminium 1/4 panel had a hole punched through it. The team just patched it up with fibreglass, gave it a lick of paint and got on with racing. I ended up replacing both rear 1/4 panels as they were both "well used". Just the way it is with old war horses.
    :)

Thanks Ivo, I already thought it was one of the Ennea cars. So the photo was taken back in 1996.

Hi Ivo, accurate as always :)

Do you have an opinion on what car is in the video Tom mentioned?

    Cheers

hi, can you tell me where the rear 1/4 panels 'tie' into the c pillar and roof--where the weld seam is...or, is it one large piece--the roof c pillars and rear 1/4 panels? can't tell if there is a weld seam anywhere. i've always wondered this.

The pictures tell the story better than I could explain it I think:

    Ivo,

the first paper was also delivered with the car, there was several papers presenting the full story including the different races and the final classification of the car.

I gave all of them with the car (it seems that is was too clever!).

Next time (soon I hope) I will keep a copy, or even better, I will keep the car!
