shouldn't you put the floor in first? Or are you doing a trial fit first?

These items can go in before the floor.

Just spent several enjoyable hours looking through this amazing pictorial of your restoration of your Dino. Only wish I had the space to try to do the same to 4370. I would also like to put my request in for a DVD when you are ready.

The restoration looks wonderful. That black frame color is fantastic.
    FORZA!

Let's see (tongue firmly in cheek) ...
With an email such as that would your Dino have a license plate that has TNT in it? (Chuckle)

Perhaps the Dino of Trish 'N Tom Thineson of Sunnyvale!

Welcome to your third post, glad to finally have you as members here

PS - I'll bet that beach is in the North Big Sur area, I'm guessing Garrapata State Park about 1/4 mile North of Rocky Point restuarant (several miles South of Yankee Point in Carmel). These are wonderful side trips for anyone attending Monterey in August.
(I've also done several SCUBA dives there and recall scrambling down each of those rocky trails with 60+ pounds on my back to see the otters in the coves)

Just added more stuff today. I installed the horn, headlights, side markers, and the Euro indicator lights. Those have been a pain since day 1. I got one new one from Ferrari and the other is used. They were set up for single fillament bulbs, I need double. I thought it would be easy just to add a wire. Unfortunately when you do that with the existing sockets the contact points on the bulb do not line up. Speed dial Jim Selevan, You have to use your old US lights for a donor and remove the bulp socket, of course it won't fit in the Euro light, so with some drilling and epoxy the set up works fine now. I would never switch from US to Euro front turn signals again--way to much hassle!! I have to get to the hydraulic lines soon.

Gregg - the wiring harness has a branch that leaves the dash area, runs along the passenger foot rest (to right of tunnel and shift gate) and connects the brake light switch, reverse light switch, cigarette lighter, ash tray light, power windows, etc. Some of these appliances may not be present in the 206. These conductors terminate at the fuse panel in the foward spare-tire area (above left wheel).

What a beautiful car you have. I wish I had the time, money, expertise, and equipment to do the same to my Boxer. I would want to make it as perfect as your Dino. I can't wait to see the finished product which will be the envy of any restoration shop. Keep the pics and details coming. Awesome and inspiring thread!

Thank you. One thing I do lack is the expertise, I do have the time and resources, I fake the rest.

    jon,

so i've come to this thread late, so i will also add my praise for what you are doing here. i've become so inspired that i've decided to start doing something like this myself, though starting off with a much cheaper, simpler car.

i haven't read every page of this thread, so if this has already been asked and answered, my apologies. but i believe you've said that you've never done something like this before. if that's so, what sort of prep did you do before embarking on this, and where did you get all the information? clearly this is a pretty complex operation, but you had to figure out what sort of tools (both large and small) you needed to get, how to take things apart, and how to put them back (even just figuring out what amount of torque to apply to certain screws, right?). where did you acquire all that if i may ask. would love some pointers to get me started.

thanks, and keep the posts coming. hope you are continuing to enjoy the journey.

    h
