170, yeah right. I doubt he ever got much past 70 on that road.
Nah.......that's nothing! That's how I drive to work every day, except I'd also be holding a mocha grande and smoking a Gaulois!
Very amateurish. He obviously has very little experience (or talent for that matter) in driving a car at the limits. He was constantly jabbing and releasing the throttle through the corners which is a good way to loose control. He was in over his head and was lucky he didn't pound the car into a guardrail or ditch. I don't know if he is a spoiled rich kid or a complete idiot who wanted to abuse a car that wasn't his, but either way he should be taken out behind the woodshed and have his a$$ kicked.
Erikson hit a bump going 199mph in his Enzo and bent it around a telephone pole into a million pieces. If you hit a bump going 170mph in your Modena, he probably shouldn't be with us right now.
Idiotic driving, yes. Its fun to drive them like that but before that the driver needed to learn how to drive as his skills are lame. Its easy to drive a 360 in such manner, they are well balance to start with.
LOL....it's like Adam 12....."caught 'em!" Or, if you prefer the more recent Hawaii 5-0..... where McGarrit would say "book 'em, Deno"
I dunno. I think he is a retard for driving like that, especially in a car that isn't cheap to repair. Honestly, if he wanted to "drift" on public roads, he could've chosen something that WASN'T an expensive car. I do like drifting, and it is fun to watch, but PLEASE use common sense, and ALWAYS wear a seatbelt.
It's called drifting .. it's a huge fad .. there are two ways to do it .... you break the rear-end loose with the e-brake or you jab at and release the throttle. This guy was no car-control god, but in all fairness, he probably knows this is not the fast way around. This is visually appealing and the crowds that watch this sort of video love it. Bill
If only, if only. It ends with him saying that he broke the air dam off going 170. I think he may have been reading the temp gauge though. Peter Hatch
With it, without it, if he went off the cliff I don't think it would matter. He must have a death wish. Guy was born with more money than sense obviously.
Let's assume he owns the car. It's his car to destroy. Not everybody bends at the waist Muslim style towards Italy. So his skills suck, do you really think he reads any of your posts with all you grandpa's shaking your fingers at him? Good on him. And for those who are too cheap to buy new and are "worried" you might buy his poor abused car , well save your pennies and buy new. Oh the horrors , someone farted around in their sportscar. He must not have read his Ferrari Chat rule book on how to conduct himselft whilst behind the wheel of the scared car from Modena. Somtimes this seems more like a Buick forum than a supposed sportscar forum. Damn spoiled rich kids brats, how dare they slide around in their fancy pants sportscars.
im pretty sure he shot that footage in the Malibu canyons..looks to be Decker Cyn and a bit of Encinal Cyn.....depending on the time of day that could easily become a bad scene....
Uhmm, lets see. Enzo splattered in Italy, dead driver. Enzo splattered in California, amazing no one was injured. Enzo driven into a cement block by a black rapper who cant drive. Then there was that 348 that splattered down in Rio at 145 or however fast, turned the guys to hamburger. Made some interesting pictures though, I never seen fresh brains before. Then you have all the ones that have been hit or clobered on here. You need to mature buddy. People keep driving like damned fools on public roads and the Algore fanatics are going to make driving so freaken restrictive we'll all be driving air bag encapsulated Geo bio-diesel hybrids. Ferraris arent getting much good press lately if you havnt noticed. Some idiot punk out joyriding daddys car isnt helping our "scene" a whole lot, if ya know what i'm sayin. I always pop her up to a 100 or so any chance I get, but always in safe desolate areas with good visability in both directions.
Well I think it was well planned out by the photo team: 1) Multiple camera angles 2) Inside car camera views both driver and passenger side 3) Ditsance camera views of Fcar coming around corners I bet it took several takes to get what they wanted look and feel wise. Stupid? well maybe.....matter of perspective..."Young....Dumb....Full of C*M"...."my favorite quote from the movie "Point Break" Risky? definitly Fun to watch? Yes
Just to chime in.....I might drive an air bag encapsulated Geo bio-diesel hybrid Ferrari as long as the thrill factor is there! Nothing like the smell of French Fries at 155MPH! Yeah Baby
