Yes, that is correct. It looks like a channel-lock has been gnawing on the outside of your fill plug, you might think about replacing it with a new one. Don't forget to drain and refill the housing for the transaxle drop gears. I fill the transaxle first, till it just come out the fill plug, then fill the drop gear housing. When more oil starts to come out the transaxle fill plug, you know the drop gear housing is full.
