Coombabah state school in 60 zone Oxley drive, doing 81, my fault, I know Sunday morning is THE worst time to be out and about on the GC, was taking my boy up the road to Sovereign for him to take some photos, want him to get to be as good as you ... better job being a photographer for a living than actually working
Nasty JM, That's one of the hardest roads to stick to 60. I have to put the cruise control on there or else you're over and the cops love it!!
I saw that a few weeks back and automatically thought you were selling yours and saw 1 female owner and thought that was a bit of poetic license as I'm sure your female doesn't drive it like most. Then noticed the spoiler was normal.
No, No. That car list above is as described. This is Terry's Boxster: http://www.qsm.com.au/show_car.php?id=107 ....also described accurately
Very nice Q. I showed her that one once before and she said it was nice. But if she gets a Boxster, she wants a black one she said. Women, cant live with them..............cant shoot them.
yeah, sure you can, just see IanB for one of his rifles remember to do a Myspace write up as you go ... seems to be the done thing these days did anyone read about the two girls who put their suicide on their Myspace page ?? I blame global warming for al lthis silliness
its crazy eh JM? myspace is going to be the police's best friend. all the evidence required to solve homicides, drug rings, suicide pacts, armed robbery, bullying videos...name it
Bloody hell!! What is the world coming too.... I heard a friend of mine died 2 days ago. She went 'roo shooting' with her b/f on a cattle Station nearly 1 hour out of town. They were in his Toyota L/C trayback going up a hill, when the ground turned to ****, he lost control and the car rolled down the hill. I dont know how far up they were or how many times they rolled, but she was not wearing her seatbelt and was accidently crushed to death. Her b/f was wearing his seatbelt at the time and suffered only minor brusing/scratches. He started giving her CPR, when another fellow came along and helped. They gave her CPR for nearly an hour as they waited for Ambulance to arrive, but she was already gone. She was 21yrs old.........was Nicoles friend also.
terrible thing pap when we are 4wd-ing in REALLY extreme stuff (ie sheer drop to one side/nowhere to stop/nowhere to pull up) the advice is to not wear belt, as in an emergency you have a better chance of bailing than you do remaining in the car for a 600m + plunge into trees. but for anything else always best to belt up
Maybe it is best not to belt up in those situations. But when I have been out doing the same crap with my friends, we always buckle up.
yeah they've obviously overhauled it ---> http://www.mydeathspace.com/article-list.aspx but be careful, it's full of ads and poop-ups and crap now. however macabre, it's very interesting, you can read obituaries, and then read the last thing the person was saying before it happened on their myspace page... quite creepy really.
they dont have alpine mountain ranges in outback QLD re. im talking tracks with impossible gradients, rocky outcrops, cliff to one side...and takes about 25 mins to get up basically a "once you get going you cant stop till the top" situation. and if the car suddenly fails...you get out quick smart. but yes in the basic stuff we always belt up
Man, you really need to get out here and have a good look around. There are PLENTY of hills, that we used "make" our own tracks to drive up the bloody things. Also, do not stop till you get to the top. No chance in hell you would be able to jump out of a L/C before it rolls on you and crushes you to death. Would rather be buckled up and prepare one's self for the roll to the bottom. Just find out that poor girl was 4 months pregnant too....... Such a shame.
too right Pap, I use to go fossicking occasionally on w/es and we found some very steep ravines and hills there is a place on the way to the Curry that is the only place in the world you can find Maltese cross shaped stones naturally in the wild ... have you ever been to it ??
hrm, i should head further north northernmost ive been is birdsville...all i saw was a lot of nothing, a pub and a few cessnas
I think I have heard about that place JM, but I have never been. Some guys were talking about it not long ago at work, but I was not paying much attention. I should go check it out one day. Knowing my luck, id get lost and they would have to send out a search party ect........
