Let's just run the van! If I wasn't having a hard enough time keeping my blood in, I'd run.

Terry Ford of Lamborghini Dallas advises that the Super Leggera will not be there. He tried and tried but I think word had gotten out that I'd try to sneak the keys and drive one. Fear not, there will be plenty of other Lamborghini machinery to ogle and ride in, not to mention some fantastic cars of on-track participants from the Lotus Elise to the mighty LP640

I see that the event lasts from 8am to 6pm, but what is the schedule throughout the day?

Thanks to everyone at Lamborghini Dallas for a great Concorso at the track. It was a big turnout, with a great variety of cars, and of course Lambo's-a- plenty. Constant track action, and a large car show, inside and outside the show area. I finally saw an Ariel Atom up close, and this one had every option you can get. The owner is an ex motorcycle racer, and he said the atom is the next best thing. He also had a Carrera GT parked in his garage.

Thanks to a loyal F/chat group vote, the Ford GT captured one of the 4 trophies given. It won 2000- present, against a lot of Lambo's and everything else that age. Was very surprised by that one! Did the "parade" laps, which ended up being a spirited run, and the car did very well on it's maiden MSR voyage.

My first viewing of the Nicola Race Van was a surprise, as it was a lot worse/better than I thought it could be.

Thanks again to Carl, Terry, Benny, Stephanie, and everyone else who spent the last 2 weeks getting every Lamborghini they could get their hands on track ready, and out to MSR. It was a fun event!

A well deserved Trophy for the GT. Congrats Bear. Maybe it should have 2?

Very nice event once again done right by Lambo Dallas.
Also they gave track rides in current Lamborghinis to EVERYONE who wanted one at the end of the event. How cool is that ?

It was so cool that I declined to ride fearing I might be guy #2 needing the paramedics.

It's too bad the van couldn't make it to the parade laps. However, I did hear of someone's Audi passing cars under braking....during the parade laps...

The GT's, Phil's Ford GT and Thomas's Diablo 6.0 GT, won the Best of 2000 to present and Best of Show. Congradulations to Phil and Thomas for their well deserved wins! The parade laps were an added benefit and the people of Lamborghini of Dallas had another very fine event.

That was the funniest part of the day. Lightguy's brother and wife were there, and I couldn't turn down a pretty blonde when David asked if she could ride. We were told to do 40-60mph but be safe, so the next thing I know an Audi S4 comes screaming past from 2 cars back, and makes a 5 car pass on the straightaway. Then in true parade lap fashion, he made some more nice passes in the corners, another no no. We were dying laughing from back in the pack, as you win Hotshoe of the Day Award David. Spirited run back to Dallas behind a black blur with a wing.

Thanks to Lamborghini of Dallas and everyone else who made this a great event. This was the first time I have gone. Well worth the long drive! Not to mention I saw a Gallardo at the gas station welcoming us there and an LP640 after leaving. There was an even greater turnout then I expected. Every time I looked, something else had arrived. At one point a Carrera GT pulled in! I got to see many cars for the first time and meet some great people too. To top off the day, I got my first Lamborghini ride in a Gallardo. I loved every second of it. Sooooo sooo fast, and rode so well around the corners. Ill never forget that. I can still hear the sound! Just unbelievably fast, and its their entry level car! It was a great day. I had a good time.:)
