I agree....just think, desecrating a painting of Martha Washington!!

(Darn....how do you accomplish copying the photo as well when you click quote??) Guess you'll have to click back to the last post by Speedy to refer to Martha's portrait......

    not cool -

Only because Mr. Lamborghini left a job with Ferrari to try and PUNK Mr. Ferrari, so copying Mr. Lamborghini's styles is a sorry and sad attempt of redemption...

If I were really affluent, I would pay to have everyone else's doors butchered like this. Then I could park anywhere with no worries.

I think its cool! Bravo to the owner for separating themselves from the pack without considering it could prove, I dunno, even useful.

Between the dumber and dumber crap I see each day, and the dumber and dumber responses to how great it all is, I must conclude a conspiracy is afoot to put lead in our drinking water. Scissor doors is a hallmark of Lamborghini, Ferrari's direct nemesis. It would be akin to putting "made in Germany" insignias on Rolls Royces and Austin Mini Coopers. Oh, wait, they already did that. So it would be like putting "made in Germany" insignias on Chyslers, Jeeps, and Dodges. Oh darn, they did that too? Well, maybe it could be like putting "made in Germany" insignias on Frightliner trucks, Detroit Diesel engines, Oshkosh trucks, or Lamborghini automobiles? Yeah, they done that too. If I ever own a car with scissor doors, it will be a Lamborghini. And if I ever own a Lamborghini, it will have been built by Him and no one else.

The safety of it scares me a little. Here in the Czech Republic, a Lambo rolled on its roof and the two people burnt alive because the doors couldnt open and the car caught on fire. I like the doors opening outwards, that way, no matter which way I land my car there is always a very good chance of walking out.

I think i threw up a little in my mouth... no mas, it looks like ingress/egress would be much harder with those doors looksl ike the bottom front corner of the door is in prime take out your shin territory.

Whether it is cool or not depends on your target audience:
If you want to take it to Pebble Beach or Cavallino, then it is not cool. If you want to win at H.I.N., then it is a must.

Anyhow, I'm more interested in where they got this done? And how?

Actually they're called scissors doors. Lambos aren't the only ones that have them.

The only custom "lambo" doors I've seen that looked good were on a Ford GT. Those really looked great. This is just a sad display of terrible taste.

That 360 is beautiful without them.
