When most people invest money, it is with hopes of turning that monetary figure into something that brings happiness and enjoyment. Congratulations! You succeeded! More pics when you have time.
You are my new personal hero! That is fantastic! Love the car. Gives me chills. Enjoy it in good health.
Very nice (on my wish list). Post pics ASAP. BTW, there should be 2 thumbs up in that last pic, CLEAN !!!
that's fantastic Ric...can't wait to see it. maybe for the RM drive ? it is less than 2 weeks and i think i'm on track to have both cars out. i'd love to see both of yours. congratulations again. brett
Same family here in toronto from 76 until 2001....went in at 6,000 original miles...second owner started to drive it...and fell apart in 2003. He did everything at 7,003 miles...entire engine, carbs, shocks, calipars, disks, bushings...you name it, it was all redone....i have the $40,000 bill with all the parts and labour listed....pretyt long list...lol...dorve it for another 1,000miles and i guess he decided he had enough and we worked out a deal....im pretty certain i paid the most for a glass car (OF RECENT)...but considering the original paint, and interior and all the books signed with all the bills to back it, and the VIN checked out 100% i think it was worth the hard upfront price. Because my mechanic did the job on this car, i have complete confidence in the car being better than when it left the factory.
It is a beautiful car. I can't get over how nice the interior looks in that pic. It the interior all original? If not, somebody got it perfect.
ROLMAO !!! that was the guy that took the pics for me when the car was on the hoist to show me the new shiny bolts underneath the car for all the suspension and bushing work. Thanks for the well wishes everyone, it will make a great addition in the stable with its other horse stablemate. I will post pics on day of pick up once its waxed.
great car.. another 308 joins the family. i have a stupid question... why is the car not dry sump? i though all the glass cars were dry sump? thanks, and great purchase. Michael
