Any suggestions for a good wheel painter in Seattle Metro? I've had good paintwork done by Queen City in the past, but am not sure about their view of wheel work.

Queen city is fine with wheel work. They have done the wheels on my BMW and F-car.

Depending on what you’re trying to do, Powder Coat is more durable for wheels, (they also have clear Powder Coat). Only drawback is limited color selection if you’re trying to match something exactly. Production Plating in Everett is a good source, talk to Pete.

Try Skip's WheelWerks in Beaverton, Oregon. He's done 13 wheels for me, 8 for the wife's MBZ (summer set polish/paint combo), 5 for my 308...and sets for customers at Alfa of Tacoma, recently a set for a 512BBi and a 308GT4.

He also has decals (Ferrari/size etc.) for the Camagnolo's for 308's and Boxers which get clear-coated in place...very nice.

He's reasonable, very professional and de-mounting/re-mounting/balancing is included. $200.00 to $250.00 a wheel. He does repair work for most of the Portland area Euro imports dealers as well...and no sales tax. It's worth the drive down there.

Steve's Custom Cars in Bellevue, WA does a great job. I've had him repaint some Porsche wheels and they turned out perfect. He also does repair - I purchased a car a year or so ago and was able to negotiate down because of some curb rash. Took the wheels to Steve and they looked brand new when I got them back. 425-641-0390.

Ditto on Skip's Wheel Werks in Portland. He has done work on Porsche wheels in the past for me and is currently doing QV wheels. Does great work; he's a perfectionist!
