I know this picture is a bit harsh for this thread, but I've been looking for a reason to post it for ages... For what my opinion is worth, I don't think anyone can give you direction - it's something you have to find for yourself. But then I am a failed entrepreneur, so I would say that... 1) Use your head. We don't use the whole capacity, lot's of potential for everyone. 2) Other people can't make you rich. If they have smart ideas, they will use them for their own good - not give them away to someone on the internet. 3) Lots of people are willing to work for the money. Only few work hard enough. 4) Only cash will give you more cash. Unless you got a fantastic idea on how to make money grow on trees, you should get a education or try to get a well paid job. Save and invest what you have saved. 5) My advice; Don't invest more than if you loose, do it only if you can handle the lost. Invest 10.000 $ knowing you can afford loosing 5.000 $. I'm not "rich" (God I hate that term) - but my father has worked hard for 20 years in the business he does and it's now the results are showing after all those years. You have to use your head and work hard. Motivate yourself, use your head, explore the possibilities. Find that one thing you really, really want in life and let that be your motivations fuel. Learn from other peoples success stories. Succeed by acting upon the advice you give to others. Eventhough I hate these threads, I wish you good luck. get a job under the table, and also collect welfare. the welfare office wont know your working cause its cash. its like having 2 jobs but your only working one..................and for more cash, you could do a little shop lifting. sounds like a good plan to me.
NO!!!!!!!!! Don't mess with the Steak-Ummms! But to be completely serious, there are all kinds of ways to get more money. I know of plumbers who make $300k a year operating a one-man company. I know of a guy who owns a towng service who's a millionaire. Another multimillionaire owns a framing company. What do they all have in common? Most people wouldn't give them the time of day...and they're the boss. See, when a plumber shows up at your house and charges $99 an hour, he only keeps $15-$25. The rest goes to the boss. Some pays for the work truck, gas, tools, insurance, etc. There's not $74/hr in overhead though. The difference is profit for the boss. That's for every plumber who works for him, too. In short, he has other people making money for him. Instead of saving up and spending his money on a Ferrari, he saved up and bought a work truck. Then he saved up and bought another work truck and hired a plumber to drive it...and so on, and so on, and so on... I'm a plumber. I don't have a company of my own yet, but you can damn sure bet I will. It won't be for the money, either. It will be because I know I can do a better job on the admin side and especially on the customer relations side. I know that telling someone I fixed the problem with a $1.25 gasket is better business than selling two water heaters they don't need. One gets repeat customers and referrals. One gets pissed-off customers. People ask me daily if I do work on the side because they appreciate an honest serviceman. Not yet. You gotta be good at what you do. You gotta treat people right. No one wants to give their money to an *******. Be the best and be the boss.
heh, heh... I'm a semi-retired general contractor. The richest guy I know is a farmer. The second richest is a plumber.
Not to get rich! My prediction is that medical cost control by the Democrats will force doctor fees down and could be regulated!! Ouch!! That is going to hurt that thing we call free enterprise, but that is the payment for providing health care to all, even those that cannot afford it.
Ones aim in life should not be to get rich, do what you love and the money will come. If it dosent work out you can always start bringing heroin across the border in your anus.
