Dear All We at Joy Ride Rally have read the comments concerning individuals, participants, and our most recent run. Our intent is to provide our clients with an experience that is the best of exotic cars, travel, vacation, fun and excitement. We sincerely appreciate the participants, sponsors, and staff that ran with us this month. The rally completed its way, finishing in the New Orleans French Quarter on Bourbon Street. Nearly every entrant completed the portion of the rally that they paid for. Some entrants completed additional legs to add to their fun. We regret that there were issues that detracted some participants from the rally that we had planed; however save for these distractions, most had a great time and offered good advice for future runs. We will not minimize the severity of some participants actions and these issues have reinforced the necessity of Joyride to provide top-notch security and enforce the terms and conditions that each client agrees to. Our code of conduct will be strictly enforced. The safety of the participants, the public, and the cars is of utmost importance. Where we failed we apologize. As for Ashley Van Dyke our contract was executed in full and we appreciate her effort. She was a pleasure to deal with both personally and professionally. We wish her the best. Mr. Roy Cats of Cats Exotics was a great sponsor and provided us with much advice and direction. We have dealt with issues he brought up, and will deal with them more quickly in the future. We are looking forward to adjusting and improving things on our runs that were pointed out by him, and continue to solicit his advice. Joyride Rally is serious about the business of cars and fun. While each event will have its challenges, they will be dealt with in a way that achieves the goal of growing a company that will be a leader in this industry. Please stay tuned to www.joyriderally.com for our upcoming events. Respectfully Submitted, Joyride Rally, Inc.
I will say that it was their first rally, and I am sure that the mistakes made in this one will not be repeated. My main problem is with Ashley, and the lack of organization, both easily solved problems. There were fun parts, and their were unfunny parts. Deliverance ranch was fun, and track day was fun, but the getting harassed by the police in 3 states, by a few who drove irresponsably sucked.
I was invited to the Santa Monica start and I attended the first 1/2 day of the rally...from Santa Monica to Palm Springs... I have absolutely nothing bad to say with the experience that I had with JoyRide...Santa Monica was a well organized launch and Palm Springs was a great first pit stop... This is where I broke off and went back home to Vegas... I am sorry that some of you guys had a bad experience...I had some food with Roy and Ashley the night before the event, I know how excited they both where about contributing to this event...the recept for the Rally was good...Events like this do attract a certain 'immaturity' element which should be screened for in the future...people like that embarrass everyone involved and give a bad name to the event...Furthermore, YL is a standup guy and I know he will make it right for thouse that where not happy...
I too went on the first leg of the rally to Palm desert. I personally had a great time, and wish I could have went on further, at least to Scottsdale. I have pics available at www. socalexoticcarrentals .com As for Ashley, I did not have a problem with her personally, except for her dressing like a bum, not a paid model. As for YL, He was a great host and had the best intentions for the rally, I personally would go on a future Joyride Rally...that was my 2cents
