Does anyone have the part # for the screws that hold in the door hinges. There are 3 allen flat heads for each of the four hinges. They are so worn, I can't adjust them to align the doors properly. (79 308gts) My parts manual omitted them for some reason. Thanks in advance.

I just bought 9 stainless grade 8 torxs type screws to replace all the screws on my 308 from a good fastener shop. I think torx screws can take more torque than a regular allen screws.

Thank you. I Usually buy from Dennis McCann ( www.allferrariparts.com) but its not in his inventory. I'll look for another supplier. :)

I hope you didn't pay extra for grade 8 stainless. Genuine grade eight will be high strength steel alloy. Stainless isn't strong enough for grade eight specs, but it is probably strong enough to hold the door on.

It's strong enough that I was able to torque it to spec without any problem. It's been 3mo. since I've put this new bolt and the doors have been straight and haven't move not one mm. Photo on the left is the original and the one on the right is the new torx stainless bolt.
