Incredibly Tragic, the boy died as well. That exit is terrible, 2,300 accidents there in the last decade, and they don't put a Exit only Lane.

Early Sunday morning, as a father of a 5 year old and with all of the kids in my neighborhood, this story is almost to tragic to believe. Just like that, that mother and father lost all of their children. There was a gut wrenching article about it in the OC Register. My prayers to that family, so sad.

Not yet, but they could at a later date, don't worry it brought tears to my eyes as well. No parent should out live their children.

I got hung in that traffic on the 5 as well.
My GF has 2 kids and the same type van.
I freeked when I heard it on the radio.
Called her just to check in and make sure.

I got almost to tears as well.
Just cant comprehend what these parents are going thru.

Just wonder why the truck could not dive for the big right shoulder thats
there. Either he was on the cell or was not paying attention.
Something not making sense about this tragic accident.

This one really touched home for me. I have 2 daughters and a son on the way. Wouldn't it be better if we just stuck to Ferrari related crashes. There are so many random crashes out there. No need for it to be a depressing chat sight. This one is too sad!!!!!

We were on the 5 on Friday and it took an hour to get from the Spectrum to Oso. When we passed the accident (at 3pm) we said, "that's a horrible accident." We were very saddened to read in the Saturday paper about the accident. On Sunday, we stopped by the house, put flower down, and had a moment of silence as we look around and at their pictures in the driveway. It was eerie and sad knowing that the kids were just there two days ago :(

If you look on Amazon.com, Lori reviewed a doll and stroller organizer, that she got for her kids, in December :(

They lived right down the street from us, The 5 year old payed in my sons little league - we had a moment of silence before all the games. My daughter is best friends with the next door neighbor that was pictured in the Sunday paper... Does not get much worse that that for a family ....:-(
