They bought it from bobiloff (spelling?) a while back. It is indeed a nice example. They even have the complete original tool kit. Once I found that out I convinced Vaile to get it out of the car. Its a nice show and there are marshalls walking around but its just too easy to steal. They do have quite a few other cars. Maybe I'm off, but I just don't think its proper to say how many or what they are in a public forum like this. Heidi is trying to convince the tall blonde woman that runs my house to sell her the 400i 5-speed.
The placards in front of the cars had the owner's name listed, I didn't note it on that one, though...... Top Secret Middle Secret Bottom Secret LOL! Tell him to LogIN and say "hello'!! The rules for cars were pretty loose here apparently if you are 'in the Club'...the 1968 Firebird convertible had so many incorrect details I don;t know where to start! But it was shiny so I just told the guy "Nice Car!" as he pulled the cover on.....I had a 1967 400 Cu In version, hard to find nowadays.....
Looks like the show has grown quite a bit since I last attended, where there was one Ferrari ( a Daytona from Mexico ) and a few Masers. But that was about 11 yrs ago... Might have to drive down to it one of these years.
The Daytona owner (Valle) is an FCA member who is now splitting time here and a west coast home. We will see this car plus others at events in the future... As far as the cars at this years show, the cars are always a great selection as every year regardless of the "featured" marque.
