Well since you won't be driving you 348 for another year or so, you have plenty of time to find a set !!

I was looking at a car in france with those mounted, went for a more fresh car with stock wheels.

FedEx..those mfer's!!!!!.....I got mine in the same condition as yours.......they even gave me a FREE crash test just because I mentioned your name.

 

The last set I saw were at $4500 and I passed for the 355 spokes instead. Probably a better choice anyway. But if I find a decent used set of Challenge wheels, I might pick 'em up as a spare...

 

Mine are stacked in the garage right now gathering dust waiting on a new set of AO48s. I only mention it to be an a**hole.

The 355 wheels look alot better!!!

Bruce, that's what Chris is going to do with them anyway. Its not likely he will ever put them on the road . (This year at least )

 

Why would you want Challenge wheels?

You never drive your car.

Isn't that enough of a "challenge"?

 

Can you let us know what you will find out? If the 348 I'm looking at passes inspection, the first thing I'd want are new wheels and I love the challenge look.

Bruce and I have been down this road. It is a well traveled road that is paved with tears.

 

Tears,begging,cursing,pulling your hair out....you name it...I've done it.
Ray does not have any CH wheels....the only ones that even come close in looks and weight are made by Kinesis...and they ain't cheap. There is a set of CH wheels available in Europe(atleast as of yesterday)...they have just been refinished.....will cost you $3,000 plus shipping and customs...new set is $4,000 plus shipping and customs(1 set only available...color is white)....PM me if you are interested...Veteran Fchat members have first refusal.
These prices are between you and the seller....I make nothing off the contact, except hopefully making one of the brotherhood happy.

 

If they are good quality and good price, who cares?? Chris just wants the look!! Its not like he is going to use them !!

I don't think Chris wants to put them on the road. He just wants to give the local cats something different to pee on .
